when Forest was on there lol man the battle between him and Vic was epic lol

They would've been able to say "fuck," but that's about the only difference. It tested the boundaries of FX as it was, and whatever few restrictions there were only made the filmmakers more creative.

First and last director of The Shield, Clark Johnson (a vet of the show that inspired it, Homicide: Life on the Street), was responsible for creating the show's style, which was maintained throughout.

Don't forget about Anthony Anderson. Anthony Anderson, Forest and Glenn Close held that shit down on the guest spot front. All 3 should've got Oscar nods the year they were on that show.
Anthony Anderson did nothing short of an amazing acting job on that show.

Props, Keone. Glad you got around to the series. That 7th season was FUCKING INTENSE ... the acting from Walton Goggins (Shane Vendrell) ... fuckin' award-worthy!!!

 mofos are best friends in real life too he didnt know he had too kill him:lol:

s7 was really intense had me on the edge everytime:smh:

I KNOW IM LATE but

actually you're right on time. The way you watched is the BEST way to do it IMO. What's not being said here is that there was like a 8 month wait between seasons. Now just imagine waiting 6-8 months after Lem got killed to find out what's gonna happen next...that's what most people who followed the show had to do

Just started with season one.

With no football or basketball, I've watched all seasons of Weeds and Dexter...with Rome thrown in.

funny,i just did a marathon session of OZ.
i had some free time so i watched the whole thing.
shit was good:yes:

I fucked around and did that shit over the course of a week on some Keone shit...my mind was fucked up after that shit...took a day or 2 for me to realize I was free...hahahha I was covering up my food when eating...looking around in the shower even tho I lived by my damn self hahahhaha

how is rome and weeds?

I liked Rome a lot, don't expect Spartacus, it's more dialogue driven.

Weeds is addictive, it's sort of weird and stupid at times, but some of the characters keep you watching

Rafael Perez was obviously the inspiration behind Vic Mackey, Alonzo from Training Day, and Officer Tenpenny from GTA San Andreas.

:lol:thats the way to go hotdamm my eyes was fuckup after finishing this. but yo @you thought you was in jail with them:lol::lol::smh:

The Wire and The Shield fans go back and forth. Both shows were great. I thought The Shield was more intense. If it had been on HBO, it would have been hands down better. It was held back a little bit by being on FX and not being able to take it quite as far as The Wire in terms of graphic content.

But it's one awsome show. I love the characters. They all seem believable and are developed more than the characters in The Wire. The Wire's focus was the city and the plot. The Shields focus was the characters. They drove the story and their actions from the very first episode carried over to the very last episode. Everything from season one to sesaon seven tied together at the end to make the ending amazing and appropriate.

:smh:show made me hate this dude fo real
they did such a great job with the character everytime i see him now no matter what i hate him and have 2 realize "yo its not shane" lol
