My sister's closet. Great clothes. Better memories. While I am doing the nurse thing I clean when she sleeps. Aint it funny how much you can enjoy cleaning for someone you love and just hate to do it at home?

What I’ve told my children:
1) You have #options, #support and #love. Not everyone gets as much of that as you have. #BeKind #BeGracious. Your background supports nothing else.
2) Don’t confuse your #emotional response to incoming with reality. You have the right to feel the way you do but you have an obligation to control what you do about it.
3) Don’t respond to people based on the level of irritation you feel. Just because something really hurt you it doesn’t define that person’s intent or culpability. They don’t know where you soft spots are just because they managed to find one does not imply intent.

The purpose of this post is multi fold:
1) I am cranky. I have found that the best way to uncranky myself is to be as #silly as possible.
2) Next month I am turning 62. My sister and I were talking about it and I decided to sport 62 years of learned #cool (in small amounts cause y’all know how I am) but I am going to physically roll through inverted numbers. I will be 62. I will behave as if I am 26 … or 6 depending on the day.
3) Things like this embarrass the crap out of my kids. Now I have vowed to post something that will make them cringe every time I have to cash app them some money. All requests have consequences. #momlife
4) I am sooo worried about who we are becoming. I hav been traveling. Everybody acting a fool.
Getting angry is not a win. It is a subjugation to circumstance. You have the right to be angry about injustice and the like. All this crap we currently lose our minds about, however, simply makes us childish.

Happy Monday! I love Mondays. For years it felt like that's the day the world wakes back up.
I am Impatient and weekends used to wear on me by Sunday afternoon. So much business I wanted to do but nobody was doing business.
That's no longer the case. Everyday everybody is working. Technology and more recently Covid have blurred the distinctions between home and work.
Anyway Mondays still feel good to me so I am going to enjoy the whole Monday -ness of it.

When you are silly and you run around with people who are silly too. I hate to shop so my sister went with me. #Sonyawoodsrose (it was her birthday). She knows how to deal with a tomboy looking for clothes. She puts me in a dressing room in my underwear and brings me what she thinks I need. By the way, what I have on was what I wore there. My pants are from Target (I love Target) and the sweater is 20 years old. I didn’t want you to think of hat she put me in that. I Love her. Oh, and the champagne helped too!
