How many Diaz fights have you seen? Diaz has some of the best stamina in the game. Marquez wore him down w/ bodyshots & clean punching. Diaz has the body type that doesn't get cut, along w/ alot of mexicans.its really marquez' technique. hes one of the greatest counter punchers.
lederman had it one sided, but i thought marquez was actually winning. if you noticed diaz was getting caught everytime he rushed in with flurries...
After this fight im sure DIaZ will work on his conditioning if he serious about boxing.

But I never saw Diaz start a start a fight off like that. I think it was a mix of the two.

its a testimony to him and other guys with lesser conditioning who can fight at that elite level but dude has not pushed his body to the limit conditioning wise
even if dude had more gas coulda ended the same way

I've seen most of Diaz' fights. he does not have knockout power. he couldn't even buckle Marquez knees where as a true power puncher like Pac Man dropped him several times. I thought Marquez won both fights though.
Diaz has always had great conditioning. his chin got hammered. with his style he has to have knockout power especially against a legend like Marquez or he will (did) get his ass dropped eventually.
Juan diaz has been clowned for his body for years. He simply isn't the type to appear cut. It's boxing, not a bodybuilding contest. He went up against arguably the best pure boxer in the game & got picked apart. That version of Juan Diaz woulda beat anybody else at 135 at the moment. Who disagrees w/ that?

He was an all-time great w/a flabby type body.
Marquez broke him down by using angles, throwing uppercuts Diaz never saw and kept his composure by using his experience.
