Jon Voight Calls President Barack Obama
A "False Prophet"</font size></center>

Washington, DC (CNS) - Republican actor Jon Voight has some strong words for U.S. President Obama. The Academy Award winner calls the American leader a "false prophet" at a GOP fundraiser in Washington on Monday.

The estranged father of Angelina Jolie was the master of ceremonies at the Republican Party event. He immediately set the tone and delivered a warning to the audience, asking his fellow Republicans to "free this nation from this Obama oppression."

He said, "Obama as a candidate portrayed himself as a moderate but turned out to be wildly radical."

"Everything Obama has recommended has turned out to be disastrous."

He also blamed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, George Soros and Connecticut Senator Chris Dodd and "their ilk for the downfall of the country," and praised Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, and Michelle Malkin among others for trying to defeat Obama.

Though seemingly full of venom, Voight's words were not very surprising. He openly endorsed John McCain's 2008 presidential bid and criticized Obama in an Op-Ed article in the Washington Times.

Jon Voight is a certified idiot after saying that the stimulus package is a failure. What he thought it was going to work overnight right when Obama signed the bill? Spoken like a man who really doesn't understand economics.

Anybody noticed the right-wing's "Religious Word Association Game" ???

It amazes me how pundits expect obama to turn this "shit stew" that bush left us in and turn it into gumbo overnight.

Its amazing how Obama has not been in office 6 months and these azzholes are trying to pick him apart, but Bush was fucking up for 8 years and nothing was said by these so-called Patriots, these idiots act like Bush has nothing to do with the current state of the economy after dumping almost a trillion dollars into Iraq.

OK, I'll play the game :D Check it out, Its pretty much a consesus on the board that Bushs' economic policies were a failure. Agreed? OK. Somebody please tell me what actions has Obama put in place that would indicate we have dismissed those policies of W? From my standpoint, he's simply trying to "OutBush" Bush!

1) We still got NAFTA - it stifles domestic production
2) Interest rates still at 0 - it doesn't promote saving $$$
3) Still at War, with threats to expand to Pakistan
4) Still dependent on the Chinese to borrow $$$ we can't pay back
5) The Fed is still Printing $$$$ further devaluing your savings & diminishes your ability to save

All of these issues affect the economy in a negative way. The policy that needs to be promoted is: less Borrowing to Consume and more Saving and Production, simple economics without the left / right arguments.

F*ck what Voight is talkin bout cause McCain ol azz would be doing the same thang. If you disagree, get at me.

NAFTA? I'm pretty sure it was ratified very early in Clinton's first term.

As much as I am very much against the very fact that we went into Iraq, I have never thought that the new pres would come into office and snap his fingers and end the war. Anyone who thought that has not been around very long. Cheney/Bush/Wolfowitz and crew got us into some shit that won't be easily gotten out of, campaign promises or not.

Well, so that everyone is clear, you endorse Jon voight's statements,

right ???

actually I do.

Reason being because I'm looking at what North Korea is doing. I'm looking at what Chavez is saying down in Venezuela. I'm looking at how Obama is putting Israel against the wall. I'm looking at how Obama is taking control of the auto industry. I'm looking at the fact that Obama cannot take any type of criticism *IE look at how the media cover Obama compared to Bush*. Should I go on?

Reason being because I'm looking at what North Korea is doing; North Korea has been doing this shit for years ! Kim Jong-il and Ahmednejad :smh: !

I'm looking at what Chavez is saying down in Venezuela; Chavez knows that the Government has been trying to get him for years, and it's not about The American President it's the CIA! But then again Bush's dad could not get Sadam for trying to kill him so his son had to do it, say something bad about the Bush's and they coming to get that ass.

I'm looking at how Obama is taking control of the auto industry; The role of the Government is supposed to lend a hand when needed and because of excess the Auto Company's got lazy and greedy and needed an intervention.

I'm looking at the fact that Obama cannot take any type of criticism; :smh:  Wow I would have to say with all this man has on his plate, he is doing the best he can with what he's got to work with! Bush's Presidency fucked up so much all around the World, not only does President have to deal with pressing issues at home but also try to mend fences around the World. The people that criticize Obama really don't understand how massive an undertaking this is, so instead of anyone criticizing him they need to trying to help him.

Jon Voight can eat a dick, I don't even watch movies anymore with him or Chuck Norris fuck em' after the GOP Conventions.:dance::dance:

1. North Korea is basically off the table when it comes to negotiations right now. One thing Bush did do, and was somewhat successful with it is getting China in the fray. North Korea has nothing to fear with Obama in office.

2. Where's Saddam at now?

3. You actually believe that its going to be temporary? I bet you would believe the media if they said smoking crack prevents lung cancer too,

4. Ok, has Obama dealt with a hurricane yet? Has he dealt with a terror attack yet? Has Obama got anything thrown at him yet? Until then, the media needs to treat him just like they treated Bush, Clinton, or any other president for that matter.

Yes, go on; but explain what YOU see in each of the things you're looking at.

there you go...

Honestly, I can't tell which explanation supposedly goes with which thing you said you were looking at above. Looks like you re-posted your response to DTaylor's comments to you -- but NOT what YOU were "looking at"

Winner, QueEx!

So, you deny that you're a Paulist ???

QueEx

Paulist? hmmmmmm! Let's put it like this, He sparked my curiousity about the Federal Reserve. Since none of us knows these politicians, I focus on voting records a lot. None are the ideal candidate we'd like to see but seeing that Paul voted against the Patriot Act, against the Banker Takeover Act, against War funding, against FISA, the guy made a lot of sense to me. Those votes don't seem like a stretch, as we were all opposed to the failed Bush policies, Right?
