John wick 3 spoiler thread

Seen this in Dolby Cinema today and it was fire, the knife throwing scene against those asian assassins was a raid level fight scene, great to see Mad Dog from the raid

They set the tone right off bat with the fight vs Boban in the library, Boban first fighter i seen in movie taller than Kareem

Halle Berry had those 2 Belgian Malinois dogs in body armor putting in work, she trained them herself which is why they were so in sync during the scene

Besides the action, the john wick franchise has great world building to me that we see more of with each movie, got to see that he was from Belarus originally and trained in Sambo growing up. Can't wait til Starz gets the tv show based on the Continental out, especially now that we see there are other Continentals like the 1 Halle ran in Casablanca

Visuals in Dolby Cinema were amazing, all the shots in both NYC and Casablanca were A1

So many tv characters of mine in this 1 from Taylor Mason, Bronn, Penguin

Went from just gun fu to dog fu, horse fu and motorcycle fu

Bowery King a hard nigga to kill, thought he was for sure dead when Iron Chef gave him those 7 slices

Wonder if Common or any of these cats from the Raid comes back for part 4

Can't wait to see the Bowery King get his revenge. They probably shot it back to back already like they did Marvel movies.

Seems like that role was imagined with Samuel Jackson in mind...

"Well, sometimes you gots ta cut a muthafucka"

Nope. the role for the Bowery King was created for Fish. See item #64

Edit.. so they ain't Shepards...

just saw it.. movie was off the chain!

can't wait till the high table gets taken down

Just got back from seeing it. Didn't disappoint. Men were taking some major L's with all the dick stabbing and dicks being shot off and then dogs attacking everyone's junk. Wild movie. Got a little long in the tooth with that one Asian guy at the end, but overall I give it a B+.

Armor piercing shotgun shells. Straight wig splitting!
I enjoyed that part.

Best gun movie ever. You can tell they were trained well by Special Forces types. Movie could have had a little more gun play for me, but I did enjoy the variety of weapons and killing methods they used.

I saw this 2 days ago. Jesus this shit was hard. That hall of knives sequence was crazy and Halle Berry with those nut munching dogs was crazy & when John had to cut off his ring finger and give his engagement ring to buddy in the desert....No movie this year so far was this hard, raw, and ruthless...not one!!!

Movie of the yr so far... Seen it twice already

I'm late as fuck saw it last Monday dope but I liked the 2nd one better also no cool alt rock track to listen to this time around. Still, good film liked all of the characters, especially Zero, Halle is built for this, action did get a lil' tiresome but the outcome was satisfying. 3 and a half stars (***1/2). Goddammit missed the Caribbean Carnival too didn't know it was gonna be at Stonecrest again. Yeah the knife fight at the beginning was the best one.

It'll be cool to see more of the weapons training they received in the special features when the disc comes out.

there has been alot of debate on if common's character is still alive.

personally I think he is alive and could show up in the future.

based on part 2 and 3 when jon has respect for someone as a professional courtesy he doesn't kill him if doesn't have to

he let Bowery king live
he let the dudes from the raid play dead
but he purposely said he wouldn't be seeing the deaf chick again and told zero he was done

I think his interaction with common was closer to the courtesy he showed to fishburne.

Good number 3 I love the underground assassin world. I didn't like whole mysticism about finding the elder though, and the ending when John survived that drop :hmm: Lets try and keep this very unrealistic movie as realistic as possible.
