Just an observation and I could be wrong. Ish seems to want to keep certain elements of his life private. Joe is the opposite in that he doesn't mind being open about his personal life even if it's making fun of himself. The main difference to Ish being that Joe gets a lot more to shit on himself or embarrass himself in general.
Ish can take a joke, but he doesn't like coming off as less than mentally. More importantly, that is the way ( rehab homes, property investment) he makes a living outside of the pod. Imagine you are working with Joe and he does or says something that makes you look incompetent just for laughs true or not. It potentially hurts your brand.
It maybe deeper, but it's likely similar to why no one has met his wife/gf or been to his house( at least Joe keeps saying this). He doesn't want his family exposed to shit like ICE experiences and knowing Joe he'd really bring up Ish's family more if he had regular interactions.
Even just talking about it in general, im not sure if Joe shuts it down similar to Marc or he doesn't want his business to be belittled. However, he doesn't seem to shy away from those discussions on other platforms that I've noticed. Maybe he does it on Patreon and im not aware.
