I don't really see how he's a clout chaser, he's been bigger than Halle for a long time and has had a big fanbase for years. 40+ year olds may not know of him but DDG has been popular among teens and young adults for over a decade. As a former high school teacher, my students would always watch his streams during downtime in my class. Dude has been a millionaire since around 2018 off of youtube/streaming. Last month alone he made 12 million off of twitch for the month, which doesn't include his other streams of income.
I'm not caping for the dude but I just dislike how people are talking or acting as if the young brotha who made a name for himself off his own hard work is trying to get clout or live off of anyone else's name or fame. Dude been good.
