Joe Biden released his plan for Black Americans today. Thoughts?

Two-thumbs down.

No mention of:
-debt elimination/forgiveness
-access to low interest rate business loans
-access to low interest rate consumer/personal loans (regulation on payday loan companies)
-access to a guaranteed percentage of all
government contracts (Maynard Jackson as mayor of Atlanta set the standard)
-free college tuition for income less than $125,000? (most white millionaires have income less than this and qualify - the income/net worth trick)

and the biggest omission of all... ZERO mention of the word: RACISM.

Nice try but you’ll have to get political wench Symone Sanders and team to go back to the drawing board for this one.

Fuck you doing in here CRACKA!!!!!!!!!! This don't have jack shit to do with your fonky faggit cracka ass. Bitch!!

I see the typical daily cracka trolls in this bitch.

Well, I suppose it's better than nothing. But I can't believe how unrealistic black people - damn near every one on this forum - are. We make up 13% of the population. 13%. That's hardly a majority. Or even a force because we're always bickering among ourselves and never present a united front.

Anyway, what I want to hear is more roads to education for black people, and people in general. The public education system in this country is deplorable. But that's what comes from over 50 years of budget cuts. Not coincidental by the way; the powers that be HATE an educated populace.

Education is the first step. The racial problem(s) in this country is intertwined in it's DNA. It's a problem that may never be solved but the restoration of critical thinking is a must.

This passage was from the article:

The typical African American family holds about one-tenth the wealth of a typical white family — and the disparity has grown worse, not better, over the last fifty years. We’re going to fix that by implementing Congressman Jim Clyburn’s “10–20–30” Plan to ensure that federal programs are reaching persistently impoverished communities, and targeting new green infrastructure projects — and the good-paying jobs that come with them — to historically marginalized neighborhoods.

This is Jim Clyburn's " 10-20-30" Plan:
10|20|30 Formula to Fight Persistent Poverty

Issues: Economy and Jobs, Financial Services

In the United States, there are 485 counties where 20 percent or more of the population has been living below the poverty line for the last 30 years. These counties mired in persistent poverty are as diverse as our great nation; Appalachian communities in Kentucky and North Carolina, Native American communities in South Dakota and Alaska, Latino communities in Arizona and New Mexico and African American communities in Mississippi and South Carolina. They lack access to quality schools, affordable quality health care and adequate job opportunities.
This is not a partisan issue. In 2009, these counties were represented in Congress by 43 Democrats and 84 Republicans. Democrats represented 149 of them, with a total population of 8.8 million; Republicans 311, with a total population of 8.3 million; and 14, with a total population of 5.3 million, were split between Republicans and Democrats.
When we drafted the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act, I fought to ensure that no communities were left behind by including a provision that directed at least 10 percent of Rural Development investments be made in persistent poverty communities, counties where 20 percent or more of the population had lived below the poverty line for the last 30 years. This became known as the 10-20-30 formula.
I am urging Congress to include the 10-20-30 approach in future funding proposals and expand it to all federal agencies. It doesn’t require additional funding -- only the stipulation that at least ten percent of any agency’s appropriated programmatic funds be invested in persistent poverty communities. We are only as strong as our weakest link, and these communities must be included in our efforts to get the entire nation back on track.

I hope you will join me in this effort.
Sincerely,
James E. Clyburn
Assistant Democratic Leader

The 10-20-30 Plan is designed to help other communities, and is not specifically for black people (the sad part is that this legislation is written by a black man and the last group he mentioned aiding is black people).

no, which is why it is a waste to vote for either.

are you mentally ill?

you advocate not voting for one senile, old white man but advocate voting for another just because he wears another color.

neither one deserves attention and the key is local and state politics, not President which your vote carries zero weight anyway.

Asians vote the least and it doesn’t affect them so why don’t you go harass your mail-order bitch from Bangkok about voting.

If U were on fire, I wouldn't piss on U.

Fuck all you BGOL cracKKKas. :)

Exactly. The dullards still don’t get it.

Can’t go for that ambiguous wording of “African-American” that is a CIA made up term.

so-called black people are from all over just not Africa. This economic gap is specific to the so-called black Native Americans, the indigenous cooper colored people of this land that are prisoners of war/held in captivity for the last 500 years. Most of our ancestors have been here for thousands of years but fools believe that FICTION novel “Roots” that the coon Alex Haley plagiarized from a cac.

These days when i hear African-American....i see this bitch gaining dividends that should go to us...

Not true. Maynard Jackson made it happen in Atlanta. Could you imagine If he was President? We would probably have created more so-called black billionaires relative to our percentage of the population and we would not be last class citizens in a place we founded and built up.

I've always been interested in this topic. I like the idea of Black companies getting a part of government contracts. If of course they're hiring mostly minorities. As they grow so should their Black employment scrolls. Anything that benefits Blacks exclusively and cost tax payer dollars is lip service.

the pro-whites like @CoTtOnMoUf and @hocjo2626 don’t care about the so-called black community.

All they want is to do whatever it takes to get a pat on the head from the Khazars. They are spineless and should purged from our community.

it is time to separate the coons and cowards from the real men with a rulership mentality that will bring better days for our people.

I thought about posting this earlier. I'd have posted the article, not just a link.

Then the first two replies would have come in and I'd have been exasperated. Oswald Bates talking about "so-called blacks" and an ADOS drone ruining another conversation because it's not about reparations.

I'm going to admit that this was actually a very good post.

His plan not even mentioning racism is noteworthy.

I've read a fair amount on the free college tuition issue and I hadn't seen "the income/net worth trick" raised. It actually hadn't occurred to me. Did any of the campaigns address that?

After what you just saw passed for COVID-19 relief, you are seriously saying reparations is not realistic? :eek2:
I have no idea who these niggas are man. How can we ever get anything concrete with that thought process?

Anything is better than Trump but I cannot help but think, he is doing the same old pandering to black folks for our vote.
BTW what does he mean by investing in the black community? It almost makes it seem like he wants a return for his investment, and he being white I wonder if he wants a profit on it.
Anyways I would like to hear more on how he plans on raising this money without cutting back on services or raising taxes because we all know the song and dance about how the economy was worse than expected, so not only will he not be doing any of that stuff, but in order to balance the budget, we are going to have to cut back on services to the poor.
Until I can read for myself a detailed account of how Biden plans to pull it off, my expectations for any of it actually happening will be limited.

That's a stupid and ill-informed comparison. Do you even understand how economics work. Interest rates cannot go lower than zero. Inflation is a real thing. this money that you think we just print out to no where is being added on to the national debt. do you know the metrics and whats behind them being able to pull this one off ? this is all on credit essentially. at a minimum reparations will cost upwards to a trillion dollars, at which point deflation would kick in and the money will be worthless and what's open about black people receive in a minimum of $25,000. Not to mention the lack of infrastructure in the black community. it used to be there but kind of gave it up during desegregation.

you guys are putting all your eggs in one basket over something that will not happen there will not be reparations get that through your heads. the sooner you accept that the sooner we can move on to real tangibles.

We can believe you or we can believe him.

Alot of posters on BGOL posing as Black are really Caribbean or cac. I exposed a poster who calls himself "Black" but is really PR and goes out of his way to hide it so he can talk slick about blacks, just this week. BGOL really isnt the pulse of Black America anymore, it's the pulse of light skin and off brand "blacks" that are slaves to the Democratic Party. HNIC been losing Black American posters left and right the last year because he allows the promotion of racism towards us on the board from Dem CACs and Coonribbeans. COVID19 is restoring order though.

Right on, write on, bruh!! Your so right about balancing the budget, there poor are going to carry that whole burden!! Oh boy, we won't even talk about the national debt.. The way this covid19 is coming along, they might add 10trillion to it by fall this year.. Anyway good reply..

Dude I remember when black churches use to beg the cops to come in and regulate. People really got selective memories.
That's t

People were getting killed, robbed, beat up, etc....
People couldn't even go outside their house for work, recreation, etc...
It's revisionist history when it comes to some of these folks who bring up the war on drugs.

especially from younger people who were either babies at the time or weren’t even alive.

 you are only upset about reparations because you are not so-called black. That is clear. You are an immigrant or ill-informed democrip like @hocjo2626 who is posting videos from Roland Martin like they are gospel.

your post also explains you don’t understand the terms deflation or inflation and you have a poor grasp of debt and the economy. And yes, interest rates can go BELOW zero.

@KingTaharqa is right - BGOL has been infiltrated by cancers and it is time to apply chemotherapy.

Going by BGOL, you would think blacks ONLY live in major cities. All the posters are either in NYC or Houston or Atlanta. Immigrants dont live in rural areas, they stay in the cities. We used to have a ton of posters in MS, AL, LA, etc, you know where the bulk of blacks in this country live, but HNIC done ran em off. Even ran off the Black American women who used to post. Now Black American women dont even get posted or highlighted unless theyre a celeb. BGOL is still a good board, but it stop being a "black" board a long time ago. Theres white message boards with more Black American posters than here. This is an international board for Dems, call it CaribbeanGirl Online.

It looks like more of the same pandering to black emotions formulated by the white liberal political think tanks. Trump has to go but the choice of name for Biden's program has me feeling some type of way.

When we get serious...........

Creepy Joe just talking, if y'all believe this kat y'all trippin.

Well I'll damned. King Coon in this bitch. Where the fuck you come from? But, I have a feeling you been on here for some time under many different usernames. You have a lot of coon/crackas all up and through this bitch. You should be proud.

They should've gotten someone other than Joe Biden. That fool looks like the uncle you have to watch when your kids are around. Something ain't right with that guy.

It’s easy to finesse black people. We want to be accepted and liked and we think these politicians especially these white liberals care about us. They don’t.

Plus most blacks are lazy anyways. They don’t want to be like the Asians or Arabs and start there own hustle or business enterprise. Most blacks rather wait on some politician to save us. The cold truth is that they are not going to do shit. They just talk a good game. Joe Biden is Obama 2.0
