yea..you have to take a class for it either at John Jay or Hunter for like a month. But in order for you to take it, you have to get a recommendation letter from your supervisor of the building you work in. And depending whether or not your job decides to pay for you to take it..you might have to cough up like 200 and some change but its a good investment imo.

fireguard license is 25 dollars at 9 metrotech i think i still have the study guide i'll check when i get home
Yea..fireguard is easy as hell tho. You could look through ya study guide while waiting to get ya number called on the day of the test and still pass it with ease. You just basically got to know the different types of fire extinguishers, difference between a single action and double action fire alatm, and the procedures to take in case of a fire in the building. And its only 25 questions.
Bump cause you never know.
