Jimmy Butler tells Wolves "Trade me Dawg" Refuses to even suit up for Wolves.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski‏ of ESPN, the Wolves are shutting down trade requests for Jimmy Butler and telling teams that "Butler’s an elite player and the franchise intends to keep him."

This lines up with Woj's previous report which stated coach Tom Thibodeau has no interest in trading Butler and wants to try and return to the playoffs with him in the lineup. At least for now, it seems clear that the Wolves are intent on standing pat. It's obviously a risk, as they could lose Butler for nothing when he becomes an unrestricted free agent next summer. Woj also adds that: "As the case with past trades involving Minnesota stars Kevin Garnett and Kevin Love, owner Glen Taylor will be a major part of the process on deciding whether to move Butler this season."

At the NBA's Board of Governors meeting, owner Glen Taylor said Jimmy Butler is available in a trade.

In other words, Jimmy is a goner. The owner added that owners and GMs should contact Taylor himself, if necessary. Earlier, there was a report that the Wolves were shutting down offers on Jimmy, but it was hard to buy that given the situation. Plus, it sounds like Butler is not going to report to camp. It's looking more likely Butler has a new team at some point this month. Additionally, it's looking even more likely coach

The owner is right on this one. Thibs always thinks in the short term which is why he runs players into the ground. KAT needs to step certain things up such as defense but he's 21 or 22 and can be a Top 5 player in the league eventually.
As for Butler this is becoming a pattern. He complained about the coach not being tough enough once Thibs was gone from Chicago and then he separated himself and had issues with the young guys in Chicago before coming to Minnesota and having issues with the young guys there. I guess he needs to go to a veteran team like Miami cause young guys are not ready made.

Giving Kat that makes more sense than Butler who has Thibs mileage and is about to be 30

but it's yes and no. The bigger problem is Wiggins contract.

Butler should be gone by Tuesday. I'm hearing Portland, Miami, Philly, Houston, Detroit, Clips and Brooklyn are interested in him.

If he wants to win, Philly makes the most sense. If he wants to get paid well and possibly play with Kyrie next season, Nets make the most sense.

every time I read the thread title I wonder if he literally said “trade me dawg”...idk why but that shit cracks me the fuck up lmao

Yeah they were talking about it on the radio this morning.....he teamed up with the bench warmers and went str8 ballistic on the starters.....they couldn't stop em. He was basically scoring at will.
I would have loved to see that practice.....lol

Damn. Online they acting like he went in on Wiggins. I remember when I thought that Wiggins/Love trade was bad.

What's crazy, I thought the Cavs were stupid for trading Wiggins...Now,I'm glad they did....

He would got ran out of town, if they kept him.
