Jimmy Butler, Paul George, or Kawhi Leonard

With all due respect...

This is Shaddy talking... SO... I'm gonna use his logic when speaking to him...:lol::lol:

Jimmy B is that dude in my book... and if you ask me... He's the BEST DEFENDER OF THE 3...

I personally believe Deng's days are numbered in the Chi...

Jimmy B is on his way...

Ahhhhh...I see what you did there.

Bumping my post from a year ago based off the KD thread. You can scratch Jimmy B off the list but a year ago most everyone was saying PG was next.

I guess George.

But Leonard did something George didn't do which is show up in the game 7.

I think he's being too humble really and deferring a lot.

When he just says fuck it... whenever that day is... it's a wrap

dude was a monster in this series on the boards and on defense. and then he started saying fuck passing im finishing these steals and rebounds...

if he soaks up post game from duncan.. ?

CURTAINS

Ill take leonard......he has that drive in him.......I was listening to some ESON radio show and they said how right after they drafted him he was in the Spurs gym retooling his jumper before the lockout. Then after they came back after the lockout, spurs said he's Jumper was even better meaning he worked on his Jumper like the Spurs trained/Wanted him too during the lockout.

Lin had the same hype as Kawhi now look at him. Leonard avg 10.5 Pts this regular season and went off in the last 2 or 3 games.

That boy George. I feel Jalen was kinda wrong when he said Leonard was the modern day Pip. I really feel it's George. He's better offensively than Pip, but Pip was better defensively, at least now. George should get better in all aspects.

George is an allstar, Leonard will be an allstar, and Butler is probably just going to end up being a good NBA starter.
^^^^^^^^^^^^
DTown, you are a close 2nd to me in terms of accurate sports predictions. Keep up the good work young fella.

Never pick a white boy or foreign in the lotto

That's what my pops always say
Dirk the only exception

And Leonard >>> jimmy >>>> george
Keep me out of this.

You really need to NOT WATCH NASKETBALL when you compare JLIN to Kwahi
The comparison is the flash in the pan, not style of play, duh :hmm: Sustainable play at a high level, not just a few games. Truth be told, I been lurking, some of you cats would SUCK as GMs.

Paul George because he plays D and is a certified scorer

Leonard and Butler are a tie for 2nd. We've seen what Leonard can do but I love Butler because he will D anybody and he doesn't back down

Duh? Really? Jlin was a week or two of play, then he was the talk of the NBA world. Kwahi has been in two finals and has been very strong if not the MVP in both. Far from a flash in the pants.

leonard without a doubt. solid defensive player, athletic, in very good shape, and strong. a little more offensive touch (and moves) and he's easily an all-star.

george may have more offensive talent, but he's not as strong and doesn't seem to have that killer instinct. plus, he's limited defensively and doesn't show-up on that end of the court at times.

butler has potential, but he's very limited on offense at this point in his career. his defense is solid, and he's strong, but the bulls need scoring and he's not there yet.

Paul George.
Believe he can be an all-star level player on any team. Don't think the same would go for Leonard. It depends on the coach.

Leonard is at a level where I was expecting Jimmy would be also.

Leonard is very good but I'd like to see him try and carry a team and have defenses game plan to stop him.

I love his defense and rebounding but offensively he benefits from being on an offense that has defenses terrified of leaving ANYONE open.

Double teaming anyone on the Spurs is death.

understood. i had those questions until game 7.

game 7 he ain't have to do shit he could've done like green and parker and everyone else not named duncan. well diaw did his thing when he was in

but leonard literally took over on both ends of the court man. in a game 7 for the nba championship.

that is someone you can build a franchise around. he's unassuming but that kind of hunger.. that's big paws on a puppy

i saw him beasting in college.

lol indiana traded him for george hill lol.

man indiana might be the toughest team in the world if they had george and leonard with hibbert backing them up

you wanna talk about SHACKLES?

leonard showed me something. it seemed like he was just doing what the coach asked him to do all the way to game 7

game 7 he said ok fuck yall punk asses im gonna try and win this shit.

if im duncan im buying leonard a car or something cause he showed up for me in my last possible game.

I just don't see it bills.

Let me go look at some film and see.

jimmy need a line up before he get in the lineup

i say gotdamn

maybe somebody should listen huh

Give him an offense where he doesn't want to step on somebodies toes.. that's all it ever was. He is the young guy, he defers to everyone else to not step on toes.. he plays defense to contribute.

you notice.. as soon as they said be aggressive and shoot what happened?

when they let him know..hey you can do what you want out there what was he doing?

SUDDENLY them rebounds he'd grab and pass...he's taking it coast to coast

suddenly you pass it to him at the 3 he's hoisting it and cashing

suddenly he gets the ball off a rotation pass and goes right to the rim and finishes

suddenly he's hanging in the air like come fly with me tip smashing shit in the finals

Jimmy Buckets turned out to be the best after all.

He balling

But is he really better than Paul George?

I don't think so

Who knows if Kwai will ever meet his potential in San Antonio

It's not a star system they are running where somebody puts up monster numbers

Everyone plays their part

For me too early to call.

Jimmy is having a breakout year, but Kawhi was set up to have one too. I dunno. Doing it in the finals just means more. Spurs are in 7th 8th in the West right now. With Kawhi they are contenders. I think Pop gives him the keys this year

Right the other 2 are hurt and jimmy healthy and he talking bout better overall

did he not just see what leonard did against the heat in the finals to carry his team to a championship ring?
