Jerry Jones - "Deion Could've Stopped Megatron"

I am not going to argue with u. u obviously don't watch the lions play and didn't see that game winning drive.

GTFOH. I'm a Detroit fan, so I've seen ALL of their games. Yes, Stafford was lights out on the final drive, but that doesn't make him an accurate qb.

Yeah.. he was putting it right in there hands.. forgot that wideouts name ,but his play was leading to the game winner right before that pass to Megatron... all that wideout did.. was run.. put his hands out.. and it was in them.... no adjustment needed...

this type of logic is just like rap fans... you'll see people now bigging up the early 2000's late 90's compared to now... but back then... were talking about the mid 90-'s early 90's and how pop shit is

basically the "new" hardly gets respects in some people eyes:smh:

man how old are you?

nothing worse than debating children or dudes who are just out of childhood

those are his nfl stats now i'm being a kid cause your wrong and your team is ass  and I quote.

"Yesterday on Fox’s broadcast, Troy Aikman remembered that Deion considered tackling a “business decision.” Which prompted Drew Magary to reminisce:

He was notorious for avoiding contact during his career. But he was so good at covering receivers that he could get away with it. That’s what will always astound me about Deion Sanders, he was so good at playing defense that he didn’t even need to TACKLE, which you would think is a necessary skill for any great defensive players "

 Kill yourself bitch ass cry baby cowgirl fan

nobody is sonning deion

and moss isnt beating deion deep nor is he going across the middle like rice and irvin

i think deion owns moss and gets into his head causing an epic meltdown

U say that yet u say Irvin sonned Deion smh

Moss was way better than crackhead Irvin

some wideouts get the ball throw to them no matter what the cover looks like...Some qb's seem to miss wideout open chances....

Deion vs Johnson that shit would've been nasty just in the strength Staff would've when to him often... Johnson likely would've benefitted more...

if that is the case then you see too many dropped balls from laser beams. damn near every game he gets praised for his accuracy and arm.

Aww man, that would have been one helluva battle, but we are left with recreating it in Madden because we will never, could never see it. Never see the 80′s 49′ers against the 70′s Steelers. Damn, if we had a way of doing it it would be great, but it is not to be. There is no other corner in league history that could do what Deion did. Yes, Mel Blount was great, but he wasn’t Deion.

Wasn't deion .. even joking about himself... regarding a packer player against Adrian Peterson.. not really wanting to make a tackle and got trucked.. bad

and he called it a "business decision"

yeah, there is a 10 minute vid out there somewhere of deion running from tackles. shit is hilarious.

its too many folks in here that don't know shit about football today.

I though it was just me mutha fuckas making shit up like deion was some great tackler i swear they don't watch football :smh:

man stafford has never been accurate or been praised as an accurate passer

wtf :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

hell he throws most of his passes side armed

mutha fucka i never said he didn't mak a tackle he 39 of them his whole career bitch ass alex is trying to say he never missed a tackle when the whole league knew deion avoided tackles as much as he could like the plague bitch ass fan boys i swear

And in response to his tackling I said that he didn't need to tackle he's not a safety or a lb or linemen he's a cover corner his job was to cover

and the fact that he didn't have that many tackles and we know for a fact he didn't give up a shitload of touchdowns is a testament to how good he was....

if you covering and not having to tackle that means passes aren't being completed on you.

but if you are covering and ending up with 50-60 tackles a year from the starting corner back position...something's wrong

when you're a good corner, your work day is quiet.

people are confusing accuracy with capability.

He'll make 3 side arm throws that are crappy then drop a dime then make 2 more crappy throws that the receiver makes adjustments on and then he'll make a perfect throw

and then he throws it up a couple times a game and calvin comes down with it.

:smh:

You talking crazy now........
Most of the "Mossing" occurs because Randy was so much quicker that he got free releases. He wouldn't get that on Deion. As Rodman classically proved about rebounding, to get the ball you have to be in position to get it. Deion was a master of position.

how will he jump as high as moss if you toss it up?

ugh they tossed it up on deep balls where moss ran by mofos

he isnt running by deion

and they wouldnt put prime on him in a goal line package

plus the rules allowed you to beat dudes up and force them out back then

i dont see it

this woulda been a flag for horse collar in 2013.

it would have but he walked him down and looked like he slowed down to make the tackle.

gotdamn thats incredible

how fast was that mofo?

announcer said bebe was a 4.28

i believe you'd have to time deion in the game to see how fast he truly was, he like a few other rare athletes had game speed.

you see how bebe ran right past everyone and deion was running towards the sideline and then made the turn to trail position and then in a few strides came right up to him, and slowed down a little to just drag him down?

once bebe hit that corner he knew he was gone...until he wasn't

Meh. I watch the games and I see him get constantly bailed out by Johnson, Bush, Bell, Burleson, Durham, and yes. I also see the drops from Pettigrew. Other than that last drive when was the last time you consistently saw Stafford hit receivers in stride for YAC? He doesn't. He's a lot better than he was, but he still has piss-poor mechanics. I'm not even going to mention that side-arm crap he does.

Exactly. Man with how aggressive them corners use to be allowed to play? I gotta see Moss get off the line against Deion first. Dudes wouldn't even press Moss because of fear he'd get a foot on them and burn them. Moss wasn't burning Deion.

I'm talking about jump balls. I agreed with you in every other aspect. Running by and everything I don't see it. Today's rules or when deion played long as you can jam that first 5 it would be hard unless deion whiffed.

deion's technique matched his athletic abilities however moss is already 6'5" and has an insane vertical if the qb tosses it up that's the only way i see him having an advantage.
jump ball situations.

It fucked Bebe's head up so bad if you look at him he doesn't know if he should celebrate or be pissed off at Deion. He thought he had a easy ass score. Probably never had anyone in his life track him down lol.

On The Real Sanders wasn't a tackler.. but he didn't need to be..

another Real dude... NFL Legend from Florida...

Cowboys.. should thank Florida for Giving them.. Micheal Irvin..Emmitt Smith and Deion.... Nate newton..

Anyone from Florida who goes to Cowgirls stadium.. should get 10 percent off with a Florida ID :dance:

c'mon man someone not throwing his way and him tackling people is 2 different things, when it was thrown his way the mutha fucka didn't tackle much that's common knowledge in the league if you watched football while he was playing

no one is saying deion was a hitter

what we're arguing is that deion didnt miss tackles

hell the only time i remember him missing a tackle was against bo jackson in college

thats it

so where is the footage of wr's catching the ball and deion not tackling them?

was he run support or anything of that kind hell no he wasn't

39 tackles in 14 seasons means he didn't get thrown to much an when he did he handled his business

which is the entire point. how do you think he got away with not making that many tackles?
