I think this move had to happen. Ben was averaging 0 points per game. While Embiid has been playing at an MVP level so far this year. I also believe someone is getting fired because of it. Doc is done if they don't get to the Finals. Morey is toast if Harden's deal looks like Westbrook's deal after 2 years & no championships.

Losing Drummond (he was giving quality backup minutes) and Curry (a sniper) def sucks. Could've really used them down the stretch. But it's better than giving up Maxey and Matisse, as BK wanted. Maxey is shooting the ball way better. I remember his scouting report saying he was gonna develop a three-point shot since he was such a good free-throw shooter. It's definitely developing. And Matisse is a lockdown defender. He's key in the playoffs.

You clearly haven't watched Harden in playoff games where his team can be put out. As a Rockets fan, I saw this nigga hanging at half court because he was afraid to shoot. He did the same thing to the Nets and claimed it was his hamstring. If your hamstring works at half court, it works at the 3 point line.
I am curious to see what Harden Philly gets, and If he changes his game, Harden played very tentative with the the Nets passing up wide open midrange shots and focusing more on assists. He would have flashes of scoring brilliance every once in a while and has always been a defensive liability. Plus If he ever looses interest In a team he basically shuts down.
