He conned the league. I don’t know if his goal was to only get 1 max deal, but he never had interested in playing basketball competitively.

Don’t feel sorry for these owners. Players Kyrie and Harden are showing themselves to be clowns and the expectation is that they both still going to get max deals in this off-season. There’s been warning signs regarding Simmons but they still gave him the bag. I tell you this: good chance he coast for another year then works to get that last max deal or at worst, getting the Julius Randle deal. Simmons doesn’t have to play great all the time but just enough to get that one sucker GM to throw money at him.
this is a completely different team in a completely different setting.....hell didn't the nets absolutely whoop the sixers ass on his behalf???

Short term - Sixers simply becuz they went further in playoffs. And Harden played.
Long term - conventional thought would say the Nets long-term becuz the combination of Kd, Kyrie and Simmons THEORETICALLY should be potent but all three have been proven to be mortal since arriving in Brooklyn.
But the Sixers are too sometimey their damn selves to brag too much on. So I'd have to call it a push.
