Actually Joe Gilliam started it all. But, in addition to Moon, the other guy who stands out is Doug Williams. After him, the media has really aggrandized this new model of black QB's. They want them to run and jump to keep the game exciting and keep viewers interested. The problem is that comes at the expense of poor decision making, lack of discipline, and average throwing accuracy. And please don't point to an accuracy stats either. They are misleading. Sure on paper they may look like they are competing with their white counterparts in terms of accuracy, but look at how those completions are made. Many are behind receivers, over their heads, and at worse at knees and sometimes ankles. Much to the credit of having great receivers. Tell me one guy (outside of Kapernick or maybe Wilson) who can consistently hit a WR in stride for a pass over 25 yrds game in and game out...Not many.

RG3 is amongst the tops in accuracy and has been for a long time as a QB...college and professional.

Outside of Rodgers, Manning, and Brady..those top guys.... there isn't a major difference between the different tiers of white and black qb
