The test we took Monday was a rapid test. The test I took Tuesday was at a hospital. I just got back from having to pick up my son from school because someone in his class tested positive.
I gave my son an at home test and he's negative now. I'll give it to him again in the morning. Sadly I have it confirmed from my children that many of their classmates are out sick and classes are less than half full. Yet I have not gotten any such reports from their schools through notification systems that are supposed to warn parents.

Thanks. My 17 year and I went and got tested today and the results are negative.
That is insane. I drove about 10 minutes to a free testing center. Then waited maybe 10 minutes for us both to get tested. Of which I got the results in 15 minutes. Then again I live in NYC.

No doubt bro. It's just going to get worst out here. I explained to my son today that the virus causes lungs to create scar tissue around it. That scar tissue consequentially impedes breathing. The body is rightfully responding to an attack. To it's own peril. Similar to the way an area of someones skin may overprotect itself in a certain area until the moisture in that area is exhausted and looks depleted. Always keep in mind your lungs are your largest exposed internal organs.
