Thankfully alot of you ya'll who had one or could remember Jeri and his curls heads are fried so as Aretha sung "Ain't nooo waaay"

Alot of black folks got that jeri curl and they never recover,that shiiit took what they had forever



 
Coming to America killed the Jerry curl. I don't see it ever coming back. If so it would have came back already. I can still see people putting dukes and shit in their head to make their head curly for waves but that's it

You buggin'. Over 50. Never me or any of my friends had jheri curls. Now my grandmom did have that big ass clear tub of activator in the bathroom.

Honestly speaking I can't lie, the wanted one! :lol:

The biggest artist at the time and maybe ever Michael Jackson had one, I wanted the curl and the Thriller jacket! :lol:

But from what I remember, a Jheri Curl needed rollers, activators and other stuff to get it to curl. And most dude's weren't doing that.

I remember women in my family having them but don't remember any men having them.

And no, I was too young and I wanted one but my parents weren't letting me get a Jheri Curl! :lol:
