Is it safe to say Curren$y is one of the greats

The new album is aight. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be but it's still not better than all the other stuff he dropped this year. But he puts out so much dope shit a year, it's like you can't even hate on it like that.

That Roddy is tough, though.
 
I fux wit Spitta all day. I'm a loyal fan. Id pick up his album first before any main stream. I don't categorize him wit the greatest but right now when people ask who my favorite rapper is, its Spitta hands down.

The fuck is the point of that, look fam I made a thread for my peeps that listen to curren$y and posed a question, that was for discourse, then also for people that are open to new artist, someone to check out, now why you would fall into a thread, and ask a question that could be answered by going to the first page, is beyond me but don't insult my intelligence nor derail the thread with some ol extra back and forth

Who said you couldn't do what you want ? My question was why not go to the first page and read, period...next master p nah...but he was on no limit, and emotional...nah that word gets thrown around to easy when people respond back with a rebuttal, but either way do you fam hope you like the music if not :dunno:

He doesn't put a lot of work in studio albums because, he's not an industry guy, he just drops them to fulfill contract obligations with the label I'm assuming distributes, this guys drops his best for free, and then does hella shows to get his bread up

I respect Spitta's hustle cause it is serious. Anyone who can build a solid fan base and be on tour 366 days of the year is a pure grinder and all bullshit aside I believe he has more paper than 90 percent of these rappers in the game.

To keep it 100 though, spittas is below average on bars and his beats definitely carry him but Hey Get money My Dude!

No doubt he mails it in sometimes but that's bound to happen when you put out as much content as he does.
 
He's one of the few cats that i can say I check everything he puts out.
And his work ethic inspired me.
If he can drop all these mixtapes, I can drop a track a week.

In life there are very few people who are actually great, sorry he's a long way off.

Those are not apple to apple comparisons, and truly the calling card of just a trumped argument, no one can compare to those three, because of their popularity, and the way they changed music, by those comparisons everyone falls short and thus what's the point of listening to music, to say curren$y is a chittlin circuit rapper means you have no clue to his works, and your opinion was probably formed before you stepped foot in this thread, he's been all over and his shows stay packed and ive had a better show experience from him than some bigger names with the exception of ms badu, no his music isnt for everyone, thats fine
