Is Apple actually the number one computer maker in the US?

You have to excuse him because he has a iPad. That makes him so special that he can say dumb shit and people will listen.

Plus the Apple Honey Comb Hideout leader

stated he compared it to the Kindle AND a Netbook. I believe he said something like "The problem is, Netbooks don't do anything better" (I'm paraphrasing)

According to that chart the iPad doesn't have Netflix and the Netbook runs OSX.

Here is a screen shot of my iPad running Netflix.. can someone post a screen shot of the netbook running OSX?

:dunno:Stick a jump drive, SD card, optical drive in it or hell run some flash.:dunno:

It's not a good argument. Most people look to do basic things on their computer. Surf the web, check email, social network... and a few other small tasks. The iPad does that and more with a great touchscreen interface and the #1 app store on the planet.

Ummm, what about burning CDs?

The simple addition of a USB port would make your argument much more convincing.

What if I want to print something on my non-wireless printer?

What if I want to back-up info and I don't have wi-fi?

This thing basically becomes a paperweight under these circumstances.

He'll come back and say but it has a shiny screen.

Installation process of Mac OS X Leopard on an MSI Wind netbook

First, you need to download the OSX OS operating system, then download and install a copy of OSX86 Tools. Here’re the steps the steps of how to put the OS on a USB flash drive (at least 4GB) to copy it onto the netbook.

1.Launch the Disk Utility app in your Utilities folder. Select your USB drive, and under the Erase tab choose Mac OS Extended (Journaled). Select the Partition tab, then click Options and select Master Boot Record. Select OK and then hit Apply.

2.With the USB drive selected in Disk Utility, select the Restore tab. For Source, choose the image file of the hacked OS X (MSIWindosx86.iso). For Destination, choose your USB drive. Then click Restore.

3.Launch OSX86 Tools. Click Install EFI/Run FDISK. Install the tools, then select "Run Script." A Terminal window will open. Type in your administrator password. Then enter 4 to run Chameleon EFI. Then follow the directions listed in the Terminal window to install the code onto your USB drive.

4.Eject your USB drive. Now insert it into the MSI Wind. Hold down F11 when booting up the Wind and choose your USB drive as the startup disk.

The OS X installer will launch. When you reach Install Summary, make sure to click on Customize, choose Patches and uncheck Kernel.

5.Run the install, then reboot and you've got OS X on your Wind!

It's got to be hacked. It's an Apple product being put on a Windows based hardware. Whether it's hacked or not, it can be done.

Say, since the Ipad is a computer. Can you put Windows on it? XP, Win 7, etc...?????

I don't burn CD's. I can't remember the last time I burned a CD.

I have a wireless printer.

wifi is almost everywhere.. if not I can wait to I get somewhere that has wifi.

It's hard to take any of you clown serious when you start including things you can do when you hack a device and list it as a feature of that device.. but don;t do the same for both products. You niggas are a lil desperate.

Yes you can. So the again, your chart is not accurate!

Only thing you have shown that is inaccurate at this point is the Netflix issue, that's it. Wow it wasn't available when the chart was created, but other then that you are showing the lack there of knowledge you have.

I already told you niggas to do some research before you post shit... iPad can run Windows 7. So again, your chart is wrong.

Dude you have no proof, the chart is very accurate. Time to abandon that sinking ship. Yea you can install Windows 7 on a ipad. But you will need the use Citrix Receiver. I showed in an easy 5 steps on how to install osx on pretty much any Netbook. Big difference.

To be clear, using Citrix Receiver this isn't running Win7 on the iPad. It's running the ICA client software on the iPad which is in turn connecting to a remote Win7 workstation. So it's essentially using the iPad like a thin client.

Again you lose... But we already knew this based on your so called knowledge

It is funny though, atleast you would then have Multitasking like an actual COMPUTER

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Do some research man.... then come back and post your accurate chart :smh:

It's already been researched and just as I explained the limitations. I'm bored now. It was fun making you look like the idiot you are. I thank you, it's been awhile since I have done that to you. It was fun...

Dude... a simple google search goes a long way. You can run Win 7 on the iPad and it has nothing to do with Citrix and it does not require any type of hacking. I'm trying to get you into the habit of lookin gup stuff on your own... since you like comparing products YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT!

activating is not the same as syncing. Apps can be downloaded and updated over the air. syncing is not required.
lol keep going around the question, so u do need a computer just to get it to work in the first place, and when I say update mean important updates not updating some whack app.

You stated that you have to sync and the fact is, syncing is not required. You then changed subjects and started talking about activating and updating.

lol keep going around the question, so u do need a computer just to get it to work in the first place, and when I say update mean important updates not updating some whack app.

Divine, you trying too hard....let it go. The Ipad is a great product, but Netbooks do offer more functionality. It's a great companion product, but couldn't be your primary computing device.

...and the fact remains, the chart is not accurate.

I dont get threads like this. If the Apple alternatives are so much better/cheaper, why are people not buying them and shunning the Apple products? If it is simply a matter of advertising and marketing, why aren't the competitors dedicating the same resources as Apple? I always hear that people are "sheep". My question is why are they only "sheep" for Apple products?
