Iron Man 2 SUCKS!!

I'm sorry I couldn't disagree more. This movie kicks all kinds of ass and is the perfect kick off for the summer movie season.
I felt like I was watching a live action anime. I do agree however that Vanko was weak at the end however, I did not find the film slow at all. Iron Man deuce wasn't just an action thriller, but also a technology showcase. I was fascinated with everything from JARVIS' holographic user interface to Justin Hammer's drone army. This shit is noice...4 outta 5 from me.

Earnestly I didn't mind the 'story' too much,I love the way they showed him interacting with his tech, I must state though they made Whiplash too 'predominant' in this movie,isn't Whiplash like a Second Tier criminal to him and normally Iron man 'disposes' of him with relative 'ease', also, a great opportunity missed would be the part SPOILER with him getting sick from the machinery was the perfect time to evolve his character to the Extremis Tech, in the extremis universe,Hammer was really an arch enemy and actually created the new Iron Man Version 2.0 that would've been a perfect way to make Hammer more of the arch enemy, who knows probably in Iron Man 3 we may see that never can tell.

sometimes dray's opinion surprises me. there are somethings that he dislikes that i really liked. his opinion really surprises me sometimes given that he is a comic writer/artist. i can't remember what we differed in opinion o right now.

they should have put crimson dynamo along side whiplash in this movie
rings are actually pieces to an aliens spacecrafts engine. the problem is if they bring in mandarin and the rings they have to bring in fin fang foom.

Terrence Howard not being in the flick affected the relationship between Stark and Rhodes. The interaction between Cheadle and Downey didn't mesh well at all. The fucking director Favreau injected his ass in the movie by being the help trying to come close as a friend, which was bullshit.
The movie seemed like it was half ass with the storyline. Part of the story which is him facing death because of the suit was wack.

Yea, there you go. I've followed this movie closely because I'm a major fan of everything comic, sci-fi and geek powered and John Favreau said he would give the fans more of what they "wanted". Sadly what "we" wanted we didn't get.

In the comic companion to the movie, the "10 RINGS" still exist. Looks like the Mandarin might be Avengers or Iron Man 3

Yeah this movie had alot of suck ass scenes. I didn't mind tony being reckless because he thought he would die, thats actually human. However Iron mans villains have sucked, will always suck, Manderin sucks.

Sorry Sam as nick ain't cutting it no more, there is no mystique or serious agenda to the character. whip lash in the beginning was great, yet what was needed was a secondary villian no a supporter of the main villian. The ending felt really rushed.

I'll still watch and judge for self...but not surprised to hear it...(storywise) successful superhero sequels are hard to come by...I think Spiderman 2 and The Dark Knight Returns were the only 2 joints to pull it off...and the commercials had some great shots as expected...but I feel like Mickey Rourke's character and the Black Widow are gonna come off lame...remains to be seen tho...
