Sigh....
Iran’s own self-released video shows the flight path and missile track. At no point does it show the drone flying over Irianian land.
As a matter of fact, the tracking path of the missile demonstrates that it took a course that put it over water during its flight path - INTERNATIONAL WATERS.
The issue is simple: The UN and Global Maritime Law recognizes that a country’s territorial waters start 12 NAUTICAL MILES in from that country’s primary land mass or littoral waters and its contiguous zone at 24 miles.
Iran claims that the entire Straight of Hormuz is their territorial water, which at its narrowist point, is only about 20 nautical miles wide. As such, with such a narrow pass leading to two Gulfs, International Law forbades any one country from claiming that portion of water beyond its territorial buffer.
Iran’s claim is of course NOT in compliance with any recognized martime law and as such, blowing a drone of of the sky anywhere outside of the 12 nautical mile buffer is a direct violation of law and an act of war.
Debate me on those facts with your own facts, please. Thank you.
Your credulity would be charming if it wasn't so goddamn ridiculous. Cheerleading this bullshit escalation with no meaningful critique of the glaring missteps that led us here in the first place is absurd on it's face (remember when Trump pulled us out of the Iran deal?). You sound like a junior staffer working out of Bolton's office or some shit. No need to post these kinds of uncritical regurgitations of literal WH/DoD talking points. We can read their press releases too bruh.

, I don't know whether to laugh or cry at your response. There is always been speculation those drones were stealth-capable. Also, the stealth could be because it was launched by another drone and it started out of surveillance range. You do know that we have stealth drones that can also launch other drones, right? So it's possible that it was launch by a stealth drone and then appeared "out of nowhere" on their surveillance.
You sound like you're heavily invested in Defense Contractors companies.
