Interracial Relationship Documentary. Are you for it or against it???

We all argue with each other but a lot of us have similarities....a lot of pot calling the kettle black goes on in this thread and bgol in general.

A lot of people that come to the net to argue just want to learn the other perspective and want to know how other people convince themselves to believe what they believe.

Just the name of the site... it's not a black womans board..

This site caters to black men mostly ... most of the posters claim black... use terminology like cac and talk about things relevant to black men. That's like me going to a black womans board and bitching about what they say...This is the black mans barbershop... you can't come to the shop and bitch about what we say... if we had a more firm barbershop owner he'd kick your crazy ass out:lol::lol:

This i agree with totally. There is a misunderstanding i think with women that they think this is a place where black women should be liked. And i've never believed that. There's a vast difference in wanting to put your penis into something and actually having "love" for it.

I did. Years ago, I was just getting on the internet and typed in "black girl" and this site came up.
I do think Black themed porn is the main focus of the site with all porn as an added attraction.

I would say most people on her like black girls in their porn.....we see more g.g. and e.b.t. when we see interacial white on black. Rarely see a spring thomas and all the black men she fucks. So most people here like black women in their porn....but that's when porn is posted. I'm sure out of all the threads on the main board it might be 1 if ay porn

And I just realized lone doesn't hate black men. Never really heard of her recall terrible encounters with black men....maybe she has but I never seen it.

Followup hated black men....she is gone.

If black men don't want her....either they stopped wanting her, never wanted her or she just figuring it out.

Either way this is just a place to vent and entertain for her.

U never seen a klansman come in here an spew white power....

She does not promote white supremcy or any of tha....she either has issues or she jus cmes here to vent like all women need to. The more emotional a woman is the more she needs to vent and have fun doing it

Then you see what you want, reality be damned.

No i see what's there. And i don't allow things to cloud my vision. Reality to many people especially black men in this country. Just take a look at that Rebar Mcdonalds worker thread. Reality is distorted for black men.

There aren't enough Black men to waste with crime and drugs and reckless behavior. Who they marry (talking like Black women don't marry non-Black men) is completely unrelated to their work. If Clarence Thomas was a man who stood on the shoulders of his predecessors and fought for the betterment of Black folks, I would be a huge fan, White wife notwithstanding. There are plenty of Black fools who sell out Black folks all the time with the Blackest wife they could find who co-signed their foolishness.

There aren't enough black men to waste PERIOD. I can separate what that type of man does legally. But that type of man has no standing with me when talking about the black struggle. Black pride. Or black family development. Those words with him trying to BIG UP them. Should never come out of his mouth.

Even focusing on this like it matters is another case of Black folks worrying about minor shit they can't control but doing considerably less about things they can, another mindset I reject.

Discussion isn't focus. And like i said, this is being overblown by the white defenders who can't bear to think of life without white women. No one who doesn't agree with IR is going to try to actively stop it. Because it's just plain common sense that you can't. And ultimately it's none of your business. BUT it becomes MY business when you try to inflict yourself onto MY business. Which is what they want to do.

Nonsense. When did you come to this viewpoint? I remember vividly you having a very different one before. We even chopped it up on SOL

I said
LI,
Frankly, that's bullshit. You're either in control of your life (as best you can be) or you're a victim. We live in the exact same world you do, nothing imaginary about it. When you take the reins of your life you don't worry about "optimal conditions", you take what is and make it work. Don't cop out like that.

You said
Mr. Dave, i disagree. This is something very close and personal to me. So i will say nothing further other than, it's silly to ME to believe that you can maintain any relevant control over your life. You don't control anything.

Now I'm the defeatist????
I'm saying: my first priority is my family and then the circle goes outward in relation to how much exposure my family has to these people. I do what I can economically by supporting local Black businesses as often as I can. But if you looking for someone to mentor kids and stuff, that's not me. I'll take care of mine so the mentor types can spend time with other more needy children.

I didn't say you were defeatist. I said that mentality sounds defeatist to me.

That's true.

Yes, we have a woman who lurks here, she's dark skinned. She saw the title of the website and thought, "oh a site about black women." She's dark skinned and of course she browses the threads here. And sees what's posted. And sees what's said about black women. She had a very rude awakening. Which made the rest of us laugh. It was explained to her that this site had nothing in reality to do with the "like" or "love" of black women. It was even pointed out to her that the very nature of pornography in many cases is about the DEGRADATION of women.

We got the most wonderful of all "...............Oh."

Well. Yes. She's never really said she hates black men. She doesn't down them. She doesn't call them losers or anything else. She doesn't really wish them ill. Glad someone for once had the sense to notice this.

Agreed. I just think who they marry is irrelevent and not worthy of mention. The true measure is their work in the community. Wesley Snipes seems attracted to Asian women but when he makes movies through his studio, he hires Black actresses, often for roles another White owned/run studio would have hired another White actress.

How so? Who's trying to force people to interact sexually with people of different ethnicities?

New question....who have fucked u over more....black men or white men?

There are some black men that try to sell that whole "black pride u are my brother" then stab u in the back jus like whitey. Ask mike about don king. Ask ali about the noi who turned there back after he was stripped of his title for opposing the war and couldn't fight.....I know black mechanic that rip u off quicker then any one and talk all day about cac....race....does it play a role in who is trustworty

Given the nature of the internet and combine that with the nature of porn and you're going to have some ugly, ugly shit said.
That was a rude awakening for ol' girl.

Personnally... I think anyone should, could, and would date anyone who treates you right and is someone you can trust.. Love and relationships can embellished by cultural simiarities and background but at the end of the day... It's about who's down for you... sista's absolutely!!! but if not.. let folks be and do what they do in their PERSONAL pursuit of happyiness...

It is relevant. But then it's not. Like i said, there's not enough of you to go around. An issue with that is the resistance to plural marriage - a resistance to self reliance in the black community - and people who are against anything that has to do with unity.

It becomes relevant because when you marry a white wife you're telling other black women the thing that they've been told and have had drummed into them since their birth. "You're not good enough" - "You're not desirable". And if you're a man in position of power. And your'e supposed to be a leader of the community. That speaks to the spirit of the people and the connectivity to the people as well.

It is irrelevant when you marry your white woman, and you go live in the suburbs. And live out a quiet peaceful life. It is irrelevant when you're in the mall. Shopping for whatever. It's entirely irrelevant. But you're setting a bad example when you come to my community and try to get black people to join with you in whatever.

That's impressing upon us. And it's imposing yourself on what we're trying to do as a community. And as a family. This struck a chord with me THAT day this was posted because of what my cousin did just an HOUR prior to me seeing this thread.

If that's impressing upon "us", "us" need to work harder on their own lives because they are far too easily impressed upon.

It seems we need to be more about building stronger minded women (since we seem to be talking about solely Black men) who don't let someone else's most personal choices affect their self worth.

Right.....blackgironeline is just the name. The women complain that we don't post black women....

Black women is not the main theme nor the second or even fourth.

Nobody comes to black girls on line too actually look for black girls.

That's like eating apple jacks and saying "you cliam u don't like apples so why u eating apple jacks".

If I was a betting man
I would bet that half of the guys on bgol don't even have a woman

half haven't had sex with a woman and are still virgins.

more than half have claimed to have slept with a white woman
but never have
but are the first to shout out for a white woman hoping one day it mite come true

I believe firmly though that you show yourself to be against black unity and the black community. .

 This is funny to me because I can bet money that if you ask anybody that is black and knows me, would look at you like this:hmm: if you made that comment to them. On this very board, I helped at least 10 members make 50,000-72,000 in a year and explained to them how to make more money. I don't just talk about helping my people, I am about helping my people or whoever want/needs the help. But, this is still not enough to help build the black communities because its not about a job that pays a lot of money, its about being an entrepreneur and hiring your people to help them, help themselves. That is where it starts!

If anybody live in the NYC city area and is interested , PM me for more information.

And that's wonderful. But your thought process still shows you for what you are. UNLESS you don't really believe what you're saying in this thread? My entire view has gone past your understanding. While you believe it's ok for black people to not support their communities. In more ways than financial. I believe it's not. I believe it's detrimental.

This family has been working in this community, building in this community hiring black people from this community for some time. I agree, entrepreneurship is wonderful. But getting a black man to make money so he can take it and give it to the whites is not actually DOING anything. It's actually making things worse.

Black ownership is wonderful. But black ownership isn't wonderful when it's not done to support the community. Saying you're helping black people get money is only as helpful as what they do with the money and how they invest it in each other. And you don't invest it in the community very well by marrying to white people.

This is 1 of the reasons i listen to Umar. He doesn't blame the women like everyone else does. He seems to have a balanced view of things. In this aspect. Black men need to take leadership roles in black communities. This won't happen with them marrying white women. It has NOTHING to do with being concerned or having a stronger mind whatever.

It has everything to do with leadership. And as any leader knows, you have to promote a semblance of unity and strength. The mind my business thought process is not conducive to us as a people. If you only want to mind your business. Then you have the right to do that. Just go do it elsewhere.

Okay.

Again, you say that and history has proven you wrong. There have been many Black people who have taken leadership roles and not been married to other Black people.

"He doesn't blame Black women like everybody else". That's why you like him. Some Black women don't just like to be led, they like paternalistic Black men who see them as children who aren't responsible for their own thoughts and actions. That's not me and I think that thinking is detrimental because it keeps women in a passive role and not a submissive role.

Fellas flip this around and have a black man say this...

Black women do not like or want me ,but this is not true for white women and other races... I met many women from other races who appreciate the qualities I have that black women take for granted or don't want to begin with..

Wouldn't this hypocrite bitch and call black men coons for this statement  I've seen her do that before to black men on here who say white women feel them more so that's why they date them

Black men DO say that shit ALL the time ... they also will throw in plenty stereotypes to support their theory of how much white women are better than black women ... so what the fuck is your point?????????? You have none, period

personally, i love black women.

i do advocate dating whoever makes you happy,no matter what age, culture, color or whatever as long as its legal. why sit around complaining about black women like a passive bitch when you can just get off your ass and find a asian or white women. same goes for black women. go get a french dude or something and shut all that whining up.

i do think that as you branch out, you notice that women (and probably men) of different ethnicities are alike in more ways than they are different. alot of times the problem is really within us and we are just attracting the bullshit and drama that we complain about.

if im complaining about how black women are all jobless hoodrats that smoke weed and drink allday...why are other men finding quality black women? if im mature enough to keep it real w/ myself, i need to stop complaining, generalizing and look in the mirror to see wasup. why am i only attracting what i say that i dont want?

overall life is short. find somebody that helps you be happy and that you can make happy and fuck everything else.

She has said she hates black men... ask her she'll tell :hmm:

Yeah I did say that...but I'll admit I probably shouldnt have ... its not HATE like the way you guys hate bw ....like I dont buy into all the stereotypes and I dont believe bm are inferior like you guys do of bw. Its more a frustration with how I have been treated by bm my entire life ... bm have always treated me like Ia m valueless regardless of the love I have tried to show ... I hate the way they have treated me and I wont date anymore in the future. Its not a big deal if I dont like bm cuz they have never liked me and thats ok

No, history hasn't proven wrong. The evidence is all around you, that i'm right. And NO that's not the ONLY reason i like him. I said ONE of the reasons. I spoke on that as well. If you've got a woman who will reject a man's decision making it's because trust issues within her. She doesn't trust him, and never will. These are just "broken" women. Being a leader doesn't mean treat like a child. Why are you going to such extremes?

She has said she hates black men... ask her she'll tell :hmm:

I speak to her often. And she doesn't say this. We've spoken at length. You're just not understanding of what she's saying. Which is fine.

I can't co sign for this b/c you CHOSE those brothers young star. It was 50% on you and 50% on those bm. I'm not saying you deserved to be treated badly, but you gotta own up to your decisions. I've dealt with some fucked up bw before, but I still know that black women come in different shapes and forms. Stop blaming black men and start changing what you do. I bet you will find a brother who likes you for you and y'all get it in lovely. Black men are not evil and neither are black women. I wish we'd stop this bullshit. I damn sure know who doesn't like me and his/her race don't start with black or african.

As you say, I'm going by your words. You seem eager to reject the notion I support that women can control their lives. That somehow women's poor relationship choices are a man's fault.
History has proven you wrong. Frederick Douglas proves you wrong. Marian Wright Edeleman proves you wrong. Lena Horne proves you wrong. Josephine Baker proves you wrong. Bryant Gumbel proves you wrong. Julian Bond proves you wrong. I can keep this up.
You make the mistake, like many people, of shaping reality (as you perceive it) to your philosophy. I shape my philosophy to reality.

I speak to her often. And she doesn't say this. We've spoken at length. You're just not understanding of what she's saying. Which is fine.

Now would be a good time to say "Oops, my bad shorty".

She said one thing that was clearly untrue. A thing you, on this page, contradicted. She was not right.
You backtracked on it and that's your right and it's good to see someone take the mature route. Now it's her turn.

You've explained yourself plenty. I understand you. You speak very plainly. I just think you enjoy playing the victim or at least you've become comfortable with it.
You're not the only one on this board like that but being a woman, you talk about your situation over and over again. The men on the board like yourself exhibit their behavior in their misogynistic posts.

I didnt backtrack from shit, I tried to give a deeper explanation to it

But NO you dont understand me...none of you do... you just proved that

I agree that venting on this board to you guys is wack though on my part

But like I said before she has nothing to apologize for cuz she is right, I dont speak like that to her

I didnt backtrack from shit, I tried to give a deeper explanation to it

When you admit to saying something and then say you shouldn't have said it, that's backtracking. Maybe that word has another meaning in Canada but that's what it is in the US.

But NO you dont understand me...none of you do... you just proved that

The venting is wack but people do that on the board all the time.
I understand you fine. You explained it perfectly. You just don't like the mirror I hold up. Without bringing in your personal life or calling you anyting other than "LoneStar" or "LS", you get real, real personal and spiteful with me, telling me I hit a nerve and hard. It's okay. I understand that too.

She should apologize a point where she was clearly wrong. Something women just do not get: when wrong, just cop to it real quick and it will be over and you can change the topic. By not doing that, you prolong the discussion and it leads away from whatever point you were making before.
