Burger King is going to launch the Impossible Whopper. Where are they going to cook them? Are they going to use the same "grill" that they use for the regular Whopper? If so, if you're vegan or vegetarian, , doesn't that defeat the purpose?
They would obviously have a separate grill chuck …. hence giving them another reason to raise the price more …. business is business in the corporate world
Soy been causing cancer even before they came out with the impossible burger. Prisons here in Alabama use a lot of soy mixed into their meat. On the store the inmates are allowed is a lot of sweets and chips. But they allow you to have powdered protein but it is soy protein. All salad dressings have soy in it. Even the ones that say extra virgin olive oil Soy is damn near in everything. But it is the only food I know of that changes male hormones into female ones and females ones into male ones. Besides being a very cheap source of food this may be the reason why so much of it is pushed off into the masses.
Stick to making your own burgers if you're doing the vegan route.
I was making large batches of black bean burgers from scratch. Freeze them, then throw them in the toaster oven or on the stove whenever the fam wanted one. Everyone in the house frowned upon them when they saw I was making them, cause the kids were thinking "beans". But they were a hit and the kids and wife loved them, to the point of always asking me to make them over and over.
