I'm sorry to say it but, kobe is better than jordan!!

jordan!!

incidentally, i have a couple basketball questions for you:

1) are you familiar with the concept of being "hot-potatoed"?

2) when a player misses on a missed tip in, do you penalize him for missing the FGA, or credit him for the work on the offensive rebound? no right or wrong answer here, just interested in your perspective on that.

jordan!!

LordSinister... is it that serious bruh? breakin shit down play by play?

it's completely fair.

absent a streaming video that we can all share in this thread, it's the only shared record we can discuss that is more objective than personal recollection.

i'm fine with it.

the responses help gauge the user's level of understanding basketball, especially where shot selection is concerned.

the superficial can get bogged down in the issue of volume for instance, the whole while being unable to see the negative impact of ball monopolization and pace.

jordan!!

When both Kobe & MJ would school everyone of us on the board

my bad. i forgot that was the OP's original question.

someone half of BGOL has never read once said that the ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

for tobe, we know where that is: tantrums, in game shooting boycotts, public demands to be traded, public demands for teammates to be traded.

:lol: @ you condemning Kobe Bryant with the words of the great doctor...

You have to at least concede, based on Eagle, CO, that Kobe can't be lumped in with the half of BGOL totally unfamiliar with that man's words. (Or maybe his agent, I don't know.)

Both instances are just funny to me, that's why I had to comment.

that's because people are starting to realize the truth!!!:dance::dance: KOBE

swcya8.gif

:hmm: Another late 80's early 90's baby loose on bgol...Learn about the nba first son. Jordan changed the game, Kobe is imitating Jordan's highlight reels at best. And for the cat's that keep saying give Kobe a "Pippen", come the fuck on. Ok so give him Pippen and take away Odom, Gasal and Fisher, let him play the 88-92 Piston, Knicks, and Barkley led 76's and lets see how far he gets. Kobe is a great player that has established himself as such but you niggas wit his dick in your mouths that never saw Jordan play or understand how the league was then compared to now need to seriously shut the fuck up.

Well Said!:yes::yes::yes::yes:Back in the Day...them cats were physical...during the playoffs you got put on your AZZ.

want to know why?

1 mans hatred of the reigning Finals MVP and captain of the NBA champs and the leader of the re-deam team.:lol:

And rab, I'm going to have to pick this up at a later junction in time.

I'm still at work and the internet is slower than Kwame Brown trying to learn the Triangle O.

Peace

the exact same that it was at half time. 15.

you have said previously in this thread that the game was "unwinnable". at what point did you believe that?

a 15 point deficit to the phoenix suns? the 3rd WORST team for points allowed and 15 point margin is "unwinnable"?

sure.

It was unwinable with the other Lakers (Not Kobe) shooting 33%

who unilaterally decided to stray from the game plan? the whole team? or a selfish chucker trying to save face for being rag-dolled by raja bell?

lamar odom doesn't get a pass on the merit of his play?

i guess when lamar odom scored 21 on 53.3% shooting and grabbed 14 rebounds in G1 while tobe was hurling bricks going 7-21 FGAs, he should've told the press afterwards that he "just needed some help."

or maybe he should've said something after G2, when he scored 21 on 75% shooting and grabbed 7 rebounds and 5 assists taking HALF as many FGAs as tobe.

sure, that kind of efficiency doesn't earn a pass.

but tobe gets a pass for G3, where he again shot only 33.3% (like he did in G1), while "WNBA" player william parker outscored tobe and shot better (56.3%), and luke walton tied tobe in scoring (also shooting better at 42.1%) and added 10 rebounds.

so while you consistently mock and belittle their performances, they were quietly putting in work to carry tobe. of course, all they earn from fakers fans is scorn.

you mentioned a game winning shot, but how did the fakers get that possession?

thought so.

Lamar always gets a pass. I wish he'd Punk Kobe from time to time and take over. That's just not his personality.

And yes I am mocking Smush Parker, Luke Walton, Brian Cook, Devean George, Stanislov Medvidenko, Kwame Brown and Sasha Vujacic and Chris Mihm.

I'd love to see Micheal Jordan in the locker room with this assortment of cretins.:lol:

But you and the rest of the Jordan nut swingers will swear he'd have won the tittle with this group.

LordSinister... is it that serious bruh? breakin shit down play by play?:smh:

My internet is too slow to really get into it deeper, plus I am
actually working......

I thought a shot chart of who was actually missing and allowing fast break points would illustrate my point in a more concise manner.

And I do give out hustle points cranrab, but not to Kwame. No more defending this ninja, he's had plenty of chances to prove me wrong.

he had a great game last night. One of the best games i've seen him play. He and Bynum carried us. I wish he would play like that more often,

Re: I'm sorry to say it but, kobe is bitch ass ninja!!

what about 4-21 FGAs the game after that?

didn't you tell me you thought he demonstrated that he had learned? that his game had matured?

was he doing the heavy lifting, or being carried (as usual)?

and BLAQ, this is also a bump for you to continue our olympics discussion.

i posted the gold medal game comparison: dwyane wade wins

i posted the olympics comparison: dwyane wade wins

i posted the play-by-play of the gold medal game: spain made 2 runs in the 2nd half, both when dwyane wade was out. both of spains runs were aided by tobe's poor play. both times the US expanded the lead after dwyane wade entered the game. dwyane wade hit the critical 3 to repel spain's final run.
