OP, the Panamera is relatively nice but I might suggest that you get a 2014 Cayenne GTS or even a 2016 750i instead. The Panamera is quite crammed and such a pathetically weak engine for a fat car. The V6 in that car is very unrefined and sluggish. You will have to get the Panamera S in order to get any power. NOTHING beats a V8, so with you coming from a blown V8 bmw, you will be sickened to your stomach with the Panamera.

Having said that, I have narrowed my next car search to the following:
2016 BMW M5
2014 Cayenne GTS
2014 Cayenne Turbo S
2018 BMW 550I MPerformance
2016 Audi S8 (Highly unlikely)

In terms of gas consumption, that should really not be a big concern.
Reliability: Porsche had to give my cousin another car after 1.5 years because the engine died on him twice. The car ended up being totaled in the South Carolina flood in 2015 and he now drives a BMW 650ix Gran Coupe, at my urging, and he feels like he is in heaven.

If the tires are only $1100 as Da Don said, that is very cheap.

No they are not, if you can read and choose a warranty company with a strong backing. You get a warranty with clear exclusionary provisions and one that is sold through a credit union. Easy street warranty is a good example of a strong company that pays. Again, I will not pay $15k premium for a CPO car. I would rather go raw.

My Boy with the 2016 is 6'3 and is an Arena league Linebacker.

I'm actually married with kids and my kids don't eat in my Benz and that shit is a 2014...I'm pretty sure once he gets to the point of starting a family he would have more then one car if he can afford a $60K 2015..I have my Benz and a Suv and F150 for the family.
