Dear Credit Bureau,

This letter is a formal complaint that you are reporting inaccurate credit information.

I am very distressed that you have included the below information in my credit profile due to its damaging effects on my good credit standing. As you are no doubt aware, credit reporting laws ensure that bureaus report only accurate credit information. No doubt the inclusion of this inaccurate information is a mistake on either your or the reporting creditor's part. Because of the mistakes on my credit report, I have been wrongfully denied credit recently for a <insert credit type for which you were denied here>, which was highly embarrassing and has negatively impacted my lifestyle.

optional With the proof I'm attaching to this letter, I'm sure you'll agree it needs to be removed ASAP.

The following information therefore needs to be verified and deleted from the report as soon as possible:

CREDITOR AGENCY, acct. 123-34567-ABC

Please delete the above information as quickly as possible.

Sincerely,

your signature

SSN# 123-45-6789

Don't forget to provide proof if you have it!

Thanks for the info. I was just on creditboards and asked this same question.

I think im going to write peoples gas a 'good will adjustment' letter and maybe that will get them to remove the payment. Its worked before with my credit cards.

Goodwill adjustments work too.

Utility companies maintain pretty accurate records and they are more likely to have valid proof of shit more so than the debt collectors.

Mystic:

I hear you. I don't need your social security number to make shit happen for you. It's not even necessary.

That's the most important info out there, your social. I wouldn't be willing to put that out there either, which is why I don't ask for it, and I don't need it.

If your account isn't in collections, the creditor can still be dealt with.

As far as cost, I will tackle three negatives on your report for $1500 down.

When you get paid from the litigation, you can pay me the other $700. In all the total is $2200.

I know people with debt are tight with dough. Because of this, we can jump shit off with a smaller deposit ($500) and you can pay the rest in monthly installments.

Remember, I'm talking THREE negatives off of your report for $2200 that you don't even pay upfront.

You don't have to do shit but make sure you get your mail and go to the courthouse with the documents I give you. That's all.

If this sounds unreasonable, please let me know.
I will go ahead and say HELL YEAH $2200 is a lot of money to give to someone you don't know, with no credentials, with no business license, with no office, who is a "paralegal". Were we suppose to be impressed by that. I wouldnt give that kinda money to a good lawyer, let alone a paralegal. Jus so u know, I'm not hating. I really think ur a jerk and this is a bad idea. Please get a tax ID before you start taking advantage of the BGOL community!!

i got mad inquiries from companies i have no dealings with, is there a way to stop muthafuckers from doing this? and is there a way to get inquiries off and improve my score?

I am offering the ultimate in debt elimination and credit repair.

1. This is nothing like your typical credit repair organizations that consolidate shit, negotiate shit, and fuck up your report even more.

2. With this process, you will MAKE MONEY by putting your creditors in a position whereas they will have no choice but to pay you or take the negative shit off your report for good.

3. This has nothing to do with contacting Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion and trying to dispute a debt their way. That shit ain't gonna work, and if it does, it's not gonna get you that far. Equifax, Experian, and Tranunion are in bed with your creditors. They prefer to keep shit on your report and continue making money from the creditors that pay them. You have to bust the creditor's ass directly.

My niggaz, this shit is for real. Since January, I've removed three creditors from my report, they are barred from EVER trying to report on the same debts, and they are barred from trying to re-sell the shit. They signed an agreement and it's written in stone. The debt is dead and niggaz paid me a total of $3,000 to drop the lawsuits against them.

Not everyone can be a candidate for this shit. If the following applies to you, you can do this:

1. Your debt is in collections.

2. You haven't initiated any contact with the collectors.

3. You've never admitted to any debt. (You've kept your fucking mouth shut).

4. You've never contacted the collectors and tried to work out a settlement.

The older the debt, the better. Regardless, the debt can be defeated in 95% of cases.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS SHIT, HIT ME ON THE PM. YES, THERE IS A CHARGE, BUT DON'T SWEAT IT CUZ YOU GONNA GET YOUR MONEY BACK AND THEN SOME WITH THE LITIGATION.

With this process, I will be the one taking care of all of your correspondence with the creditors. After we run through the correspondence part (it's very important in establishing a legitimate paper trail) I will guide you and prepare all of your paperwork for the courts. Some creditors tap out before you even get to the courts.

In the court system, you will be appearing Pro Se (representing yourself) but you don't have to worry because I will have all of your shit ready to go.

In the meantime, if you have any questions, feel free to post your questions right here. I guarantee this process is unlike any process you've read about on bgol. This is some other next level shit. Holla.

most of the debt on my report is way lower than the price your telling me i have to pay.
but anyways.
i just settled with a account i had on my report.
owed them $480.
they agreed to take 280 on the 28th.

thing is...its still gonna be on my report until ....... maybe......2011 or 2012 :hmm:

Da Don.....can u send me some info on clearing debts of my report.....or just clearing debt overall.
or direct me to a thread talking about debt removal ....if there is one

thxs

my highest debt is 3500 or maybe less.

they offered to mark it as paid if i pay half of that by the end of the month.
but im not gonna have it to give.

but anyways.
my largest is 3500 after that....the next debt is somewhere around 1600.
im trying to get 3 off my report.
i can live peacefully with the rest

a guy in my building has some hook up......he talking about clearing everything off my report for a one time fee. but i just dont trust that.
i know his guy has to be doing something illegal.

ive learned lessons in the past.
i dont wanna pay him...then the shit pops back on my report a few years later.

a lot of yall cats are making some SERIOUS mistakes. Don't send another dime to anyone until you go to creditboards.com

Before I log off for the day, I will say that for the most part giving your personal info to any random person posting on a messageboard is stupid as shit. If you get scammed you deserve it. No disrespect to the OP but I've seen too much.

With that being said I'm out.

When you settle the account, you should try to get them to agree to a pay for delete. That means you agree to pay a settlement amount (or the full debt) and they agree to take the account off of all three reports immediately. Honestly, I'd be willing to pay damn near the entire $480 to have the reports removed immediately vs paying $280 and having the paid collection fuck up your scores for the next 3-4 years. Anyway sometimes it'll work and sometimes it won't. It never hurts to try. Good luck.

My experience is that if you decide to settle with a company don't settle for the "we'll mark it as paid" offer. That's just straight up bullshit. The settlement will still be on your record and it'll affect your score for the next ~4 years. If you settle, demand a "notice of deletion." A notice of deletion states that if you pay the company the amount you settle on, then the company will contact the credit bureaus and have the settlement erased from your credit history. They will actually state to the credit bureaus that it was a mistake that this was ever applied to your credit history and that it should be erased from your history immediately. Then your score/history will be as good as new, at least concerning this transaction.

i just checked my report on myfico.....i got two accts that arent "reported" but sittn on here. I'm getting my dispute letter ready.
