Shits a disgrace. Imagine if this stat padding clown decided to be more inclusive and less of a ball hog when he wasnt chasing rebound stats... Its no coincidence that PG, Adams, Brewer and Melo are all having extremely efficient and productive nites.

Back to back triple double seasons! Never been done. I know Harden and Lebron are having great years but Westbrook is making history! Also he added Melo and George. Imagine if Harden had them his numbers would be affected! They take less touches from Westbrook less rebounds assist points from him!

you’re an idiot (not just bcuz of this post just in general)...they illustrate how this season has been a testament to the selfishness of westbrook...and now I fully understand why KD left...I was a fan of westbrook’s game but @ this point it’s difficult to deny his selfish play and the effect it has on this team’s performance

Heres why your logic is flawed.. Remember that pistons team that won the chip with rip, billups, Wallace, etc... None of those guys had great dominant seasons but they all played great together in order to win... If you got a bunch of teams that had good role players play in perfect harmony and they all were the top 3 seeds ull have to pick the MVP out of those squads.. So you saying rip or Ben Wallace would've won the MVP even though a person whose having a great dominant yr whose team happen to be the 5th seed shouldn't get it

That's never happened and is never going to happen.

The better teams in the NBA have at least one star player and one all-star. A team full of role players, let alone 3 of them is not going to ever be at the top of the NBA.

And even if it was like that, if you got 3 teams proving that you don't need a star player to win, then that devalues having a star player. That would defeat the purpose of even crowning a MVP.

But just know, we talking about some imaginary shit. Ain't no GMs about to attempt to build a championship team without a star player.

Melo got a player option. He can stay an extra year in OKC and get 27 mil or go ring chasing for a paycut because I don't know who in the hell would give him 27 mil.

ya he staying...him and westbrook deserve each other lol...one chase stats the other $$$...if he can deal w/ phil jackson then one more season in OKC for almost 30 mill will be a breeze

Hey winning rings is overrated your bank account is all that truly matters

And let's be honest here, unless Melo about to link up with Lebron or A. Davis, maybe Harden- he probably ain't winning shit anyway lol

Its not imaginary it has happened.. Detroit pistons beat the Lakers with pretty much good role players.. Sometime chemistry and confidence wins in the end... If 5 players on the team average 18-19 a night..that is an automatic 90-95 points right there.. You can find a bunch of players that click together and feed off each other.. Now is 18-19 points MVP status nope but if a bunch of dudes put in that work together they can win it all.. Like I said your logic is flawed and a bunch of good role players have won a ring over a team of big name all stars

They did that in the playoffs.

We talking about the MVP. The MVP of the regular season.

They had the 6th best record during the regular season, they don't have the MVP.

The Timberwolves had the best record that year. Therefore, the MVP is KG.

Now the Pistons ended up winning the championship, despite them not being a top 3 team and they didn't have a MVP caliber player. I know that. But who else did that?

The 04 Pistons were an anomaly.
