If enough of us switched to Metro PCS we could bring phone prices down

We like your thinking!!!

I thought about going to Metro when I decided to leave AT&T HOWEVER two things prevented me from going to them
1. Call quality in Miami was subpar in a lot of places. Used to talk to this chick who had it and her shit made me mad with how bad it sounded.
2. I must have a phone that works in Indiana, and since Metro is not a known company like that there (Boost and Cricket are bigger there), I had reservations about being able to use a phone there.

If they fix these things, I may consider them when my contract goes up.

Hey, I have MetroPCS service on a Sprint Touch Pro 2 and everything works on my phone except the Sprint TV app, and I understand what everybody is saying about the coverage and call quality, but think about it like this, if people made MetroPCS one of the major premier carriers, all of the issues with coverage would be greatly reduced I think. But hey, it won't be great for everybody but for those that are in good areas, give them a try.

man can somebody tell me another carrier? i want to get off sprint but tmobile seems like the only viable alternative. i need coverage, cant be getting dropped signals 40 miles out of the city.

I have a unlocked iphone 4 that I was going to get a data plan with tmobile. But I have free wifi tether on the EVO so that saved me some money. But metro has some crap phones though.
