Peyton Manning doesnt have a quick release, but he makes QUICK decisions. Leftwich makes quicker decisions with the ball and trusts his arm to get it into tight coverage, whereas Rothleisberger doesnt have the arm strength to do that. Sure, he (leftwich) has a big windup, but thats not his problem, he is just tall and lanky, and stays in the pocket, thus, the injuries.

ANY decent quarterback couldve won that superbowl with pittsburgh. it was their running game which set up the playaction pass on offense, and their defense that won the superbowl. now that pittsburgh's offensive line cannot run or pass block like they used to do, it has exposed ben for the scrub he is. he doesnt make quick decisions and he doesnt have good arm strength to force throws into tight coverage.
