thanx, thats basically the way it is. ben got that free ride with that great team he was surrounded by like you said. remember, last year he blamed it on "the little wide receivers." lol

Well, last season with his "little" wide receivers had a 104 passer rating and better stats than Leftwich ever had. Now it's obvious that Rothlisberger is hurt and if Leftwich was to start a game or 2 so Rothlisberger could get healthy than I agree, but its no way Leftwich should start before a healthy Rothlisberger.

With that being said, and me being a Ravens fan, I hope the Steelers take your advice.

You Steelers fan, and Mike Tomlin especially need to face the music... Ben is not the QB everyone thought he was. That Super Bowl year, he had monsters around him and stepped into a glorious position, that was it. But by no means will Ben Roethlisberger win you a game.

Like homey here said, in press coverages, this dude can't thread needles. And he's rattled fairly easily after 3 and outs or picks. Him not finding receivers either is a lack of field vision. Jaws broke it down himself. His peripheral view isn't like a Tony Romo or Tom Brady. Its very limited, but then again who needs ill peripherals when you have stout defense and a monstrous running game.

What I've never liked about him, which has made me weary about dude from jump is if this dude has to throw more than 20-25 times, consider it done. He's a wrap. He's not a passing man's QB, and we all know the AFC with exception to who else, THE STEELERS, is a passing conference, so asking Ben to pass to win a game is like asking Tony Romo to hold onto a ball, it aint happening.

Coincidence? I think not.

I actually agree except for the fan talk cause I'm a real fan of the team, but I put that aside and look at this.

He's always in the top ten stats included and he is the highest paid player in the NFL!

The steelers are not new to this...and they are the most hated as well as one of the most respected.

So the sideline analogy aside...this team still has a lot invested in this dude for a reason.;)
