He should have taken a page from Louis Farrakahn and layed low mrjody. Immediately after they tried to pit Obama against Farrakhan, Farrakahn come out and said he wouldnt play that game because what Barack had going was bigger than he (something to that effect). Wright, on the other hand felt compelled to defend and explain himself over and over and over and over again. He even went as far as having to prove that he wont bite his tongue for anyone while insisting on making his point to every media outlet and gathering of people he could find. Somewhere along the line he seemed to have forgotten that this is bigger than just his right to express himself.
In short, what im saying is that he should have made his point and stepped aside until Barack was out of harms way. Instead, he made his point at the expense of the candidancy. I have a big problem with that.
Again, i would be fine if this were a campaign strategy but it isnt. It reeks of self promotion and male ego run amuck. This has been far too sloppy to have been a planned tactic and it has taken away from Obamas campaign efforts in that he has to constantly restate his stance on the issues being expressed by Rev. Wrong.
There was no real connection between BArack and Farrakhan.
Barack worshiped with DOCTOR Wright for twenty years.
So when America saw Wright as an extremist,
then Barack must've been complicit.
The media brought Wright to our attention.
I had never heard of him.
So once they dug up his sermons and started looping
them shits like Kanye, he had to do something.
Barack miscalculated how big it was gonna be.
That was his error.
He thought that speech about race would be enough.
He thought the outcry was because white folks didn't "understand"..
Well after the speech they still kept at it.
He had to do some "Shock and Awe" shit
to put it to bed forever...
