I tested positive for Covid.

i think twice...

got sick just at the beginning of the pandemic before vaccines and testing was a thing..early February 2020...I've had worse colds but nothing ever lasted as long as that...I couldnt shake that shit for the life of me, and had sinus issues for months after. whole family had the same sickness with varying degrees of severity.

once the pandemic started...I was mad diligent with sanitizing, masking etc. put strict protocols in place for my employees etc. and barely went anywhere non work related. this past month after travelling was the first time I tested positive and felt this way since february 2020.

Sorry to hear about that, TDot.

One of my coworkers had a similar experience with her husband back in the 1st quarter of 2020. He got quite sick during the early days of the pandemic, and she was off work for 6 - 8 weeks nursing him back to health. Making sure there was someone at home with him, as he rested and recovered in a different part of the house for the first few weeks and then reintegrated into communal spaces with her.

Also, we have immunocompromised people at work so she wasn't playing any games and staying AWAY from the workplace. She managed to stay healthy. Fortunately like your workplace - same thing - diligent with masking, sanitizing and limited numbers of people. I am so glad to no longer work in places that had 3 - 5 times the number of people like I did back in the 2000s. Our manager dropped off more PPE supplies at the start of June, and we did our routine reorder with a place called Planet Clean last week. The stuff came in yesterday. Boxes of paper towels, soap, disinfectant, etc.

Our clientele got their 2nd boosters just over a week ago. Our staffing got their 1st boosters back in January.

I think I have long COVID...I can't quite shake this mucus in my lungs...I have had rocephin, and antibiotic. I'm currently running Ivermectin for 14 days straight..and feeling better than I have in a year...bae

Might be insulation, phosgene gas, rust and some meaux shit...brah.

Is the OP vaccinated and boosted? Hope the OP recovers but stays away as the shot pushers are going to be all over the thread trying to troll him.

Thanks for all the thoughts, prayers, recommendations, suggestions, and well wishes during my battle with Covid.
I must say that I have recovered and back to my usual self. Budlight lime strong!!:beer:

You're going to drink a Budlight lime? By choice?

Are you sure you've recovered fully?

I'm hoping long COVID isn't clouding your judgement

All jokes asides I'm glad you're recovered and doing better.

I tested positive the other day with symptoms. Only had fever 101, headache(well, didn’t necessarily feel like a headache but…‍), muscle weakness, neck pain and sore throat. I’m vaccinated. I didn’t take anything. I just let my body do the work it was built to do. Just rested mainly. I was over the fever and other symptoms within a few days. Not going to lie though, that shit sucked. Lol!

Glad to hear you recovered, be safe out here.

Don’t test your luck catching that shit again.

I got both vaccines but not the booster, The VA is on some bs. I think being vaccinated really helped.
Oh you're a VET as well. What you mean the VA on some bull? I scheduled my booster next week with VA. Man I still got a fuckin cough, hopefully this shit doesn't cause permanent damage

20 years 6 days and 4 hours active duty/retired. The VA schedules, rescheduled, canceled rinse and repeat for booster. I haven't had the same Primary care doctor in over 5 years. They come get frustrated/quit/move on to better opportunities. My next appointment is 29 June with a new PC, I will request a booster then.

Nah. Shouldn’t be no need to troll the man. He’s already been sick and over it. Besides this variant of Covid 19 is NOT the same one that was killing folks a few years back. Its weakened down a lot.

Niggas at work keep testin pos

I’m sick of this shit

I don’t even care anymore

we goin on flights

Going through same thing at my work. The Trumpsters, the religious and a gang of niggas finally found something to agree on - No vaccines. I dont agree with it but I get it.

Some folks would be dead without that vaccine. Some manage just fine without it.

Most dangerous folks to be around still is be making way to and from Florida. Lol

Again this new variant hitting folks like the flu so everybody be flagrant now. Folks just dont care anymore.
