I Swear, I've Been Playing this song To Death Since I Watched 007

I like the song and Alica Keys makes it hot ... is the Alica Keys song the theme song?

?

I think I like the Moby one better...

I heard they are making the new bond more like Bourne and less like Bond.

Jack White from The white Stripes

we all know that Amy Winehouse was supposed to do the theme song. i wonder if this was the track she was supposed to sing. cause Jack White wrote & produced the entire song. Alicia just sings on it

guess you have to see the movie to appreciate this song,,, because i'm not feeling it off the video alone,,, definitely not something i want to hear more than once

Bruh,

I was thinking the EXACT SAME THING!!!

The last Bond song to stay in my head has been Duran Duran's "A VIEW TO A KILL". That shit was bombastic enough to make it a lasting Bond theme.

An interesting pairing between White and Keys. But that song (and video) came off as just that. Not a Bond theme. But like you said. Maybe one has to see the film.

I'll give a nod to Tina Turner's "GOLDENEYE" too.

And I loved the song from that Bond video game that came out a few years back.

But I can't even remember any Bond song after those. I know Sheryl Crow did one. But I can't remember it. And Chris Cornell's from "CASINO ROYALE" is totally wiped from my memory. And I loved that Dude when he was with Soundgarden.

In Order:

Shirley Bassey: GOLDFINGER
Paul McCartney: LIVE AND LET DIE
Carly Simon: THE SPY WHO LOVED ME

The song is good. If you like Bond movies, you generally like the opening song.

The movie is more like Bourne and less like Bond. There's no Q, no Q's son. There's no smooth talking Bond and taking out a guy with two karate chops. It's a lot more violent and a lot more like Bourne. It might be this way because this movie is about revenge. So, the next one could be a lot different, we'll see.

This is Bond music at its finest. The guitar stabs and Alicia's, KEYS, came well together.

I like it.

I wanted to listen earlier but all I got was .....

Maaannnn the track/instrumentals were bangin'.

BUT I do NOT think Keys was the right vocalist, though she wasn't bad. Unfortunately, the industry picks beauty and name rec' over quality music.

I'll name 3 female vocalist that would've (not 'would of') merck'd this;

Res, Alice Smith, Jill Scott. Any one of these ladies would've left this track a smoldering ash pile.

. . . just my 2 cent.

Tina Turner's "James Bond" theme is the best so far in my opinion.

Beat is nasty as hog shit, vocals as sweet as honey!

"Goldfinger" is, and always will be, the DEFINITIVE Bond theme song.

This movie and "Casino Royale" are the beginnings ofthe Bond legend. Remember, when "Casino Royale" begins, he still needs 2 confirmed kills to get his "00" status. He is still learning and growing to the expectations of M. This is also why there is no Q and all of his gadgets in the newest movies.
