I need Help understanding something about Ghost Guns

TRUFICTION

SINCE 1998
BGOL Investor
The city of Phillidelphia is filing a lawsuit against 2 "Ghost Gun" manufacturers
in the wake of its latest mass shooting. The Lawmakers and Legislators in this country are now
and always have been against any real or meaningful regulation of firearms nation wide,
ESPECIALLY so-called "LONG GUNS", Rifles or Assault rifles.
The term used to identify the weapon of choice will be determined by the color of the person holding it and their status in society.

Please tell me, What difference does it make if a gun with no serial number is used
to murder masses of people or one with a serial number ?
We all know they arent going to stop the sale of guns
that are capable of killing people in large numbers to damn near anyuone who wants one.
They are probably even easier to get on the street with and without serial #s
Does the gun or bullet know or care ifs its stolen or without a serial #?

Is it just me or am I missing something ?
Is this Just one big ass Gaslight by the media and people who have their heads up thier ass or are ghost guns a legit concern?
If so ... Please explain it for me because clearly im confused.
How does sueing 2 companies out of thousands make any difference ? Especially since the City will lose this case.

Ghost guns are when a person doesn't have to pull the trigger so many times to get multiple shots off which is why they're dangerous.

Whats the difference between those and the ones you can buy over the coounter or on the block ?

The ones they buy on the block being illegal, they can customize the gun to become fully auto and people that buy guns legally don't have ghost guns because it must be registered in your name nor are you allowed to make them into full auto guns.

NOPE

A ghost gun is a do-it-yourself, homemade gun made from easy-to-get building blocks that can be purchased with no background check and no questions asked. These guns are made by an individual, not a federally licensed manufacturer or importer.

People do the same things with guns with serial #s that are stolen or are also untraceble
...even with a serial # The police dont always know where a gun with a number on it even came from.
They can trace it back to someone who once legally owned it but after that its a wrap.
Thats why people have to be careful buying guns from random cats on the street that shit could already have a body or 2 on it.
And that gun is still equally as lethal as any other. Why does a number matter ?

Right, isn't worth the risk.

Best to buy it legal because in Philly you will serve big time for having a gun illegally. But them banning ghost guns hasn't stop the crime in Philly with all these killings going on. This is why it's called killadelphia.

I know what they are ... Im asking why does it matter if its self made or manufactured by a recognized company ?
  1. Traceability: Firearms produced by licensed manufacturers are required to have unique serial numbers. This allows for tracing the history of a firearm, which can be useful in law enforcement investigations. A "ghost gun" typically does not have a serial number, making it hard to trace.
  2. Regulations and Safety Standards: Recognized firearm manufacturers must comply with numerous regulations and safety standards, both in the production process and in the final product. These standards can include safety features, materials used, quality control, and so on. A self-made firearm may not adhere to these standards, potentially making it more dangerous to use.
  3. Background Checks: When firearms are purchased from a licensed dealer, the buyer is typically subject to a background check. This is intended to prevent people who have been convicted of certain crimes, have restraining orders against them, or are in the country illegally from owning firearms. Because "ghost guns" can be made by anyone with the necessary equipment and know-how, they can bypass this system.
  4. Resale and Distribution: Firearms produced by licensed manufacturers are intended for legal distribution and resale, with controls in place to prevent illegal transactions. "Ghost guns," however, can be created and sold without any official oversight, which may facilitate illegal activities.
  5. Reliability and Performance: Professionally manufactured firearms are typically more reliable and perform better than homemade ones, although this can depend on the skill of the person making the firearm. A poorly made homemade firearm can be dangerous to the user as well as to others.

All That is nice... but heres the thing....
Criminals can and will still get guns with or without serial #s and kill at will.
Why does it matter legally that a gun has no #s ?
With no real stops or checks put on guns laws especially "LONG GUNS" .. this is (In My Opinion) a Gaslight

You've always been able to legally create your guns without the need for a serial number to use for home or self protection. It becomes illegal when you try to sell them after the gun has been assembled and obviously in the use of a crime. They are not as easily made as some make it seem as you need to have certain tools in order to do the work. The problem is these guns getting into the hands of those with malicious intentions whether it be via stealing from owners or via being sold to them.

Maryland tried legislation requiring serial number microstamping that would allegedly ID the fingerprint for every gun sold to be implemented. Cost the state citizens over $5 million tax dollars and has yet to solve any crime during the 15 years it was active.

This is exactly why Im asking the question... Im just trying to make sure Im not crazy... well....anyway

The key thing is to not get caught up in the labels and information being put out from any local politicians regardless of party or any news platforms. The best thing is to do your own research and draw your own conclusions or speak with people who are familiar with the firearm world cuz there's a lot of invalid information put out there to the masses and a lot of people take it as fact. The shit I see on Quora is beyond ridiculous and delusional

The biggest problem with ghost guns is that anyone can make them. It’s becoming as easy as putting together cheap furniture.

You can easily buy the ghost gun kit online or a 3D printed gun pieces. Then all you need is an instructional to put it together.

When I was a kid I use to wish for shit like this. :smh:

Just some more on the topic...

Eggheads in colleges make all kinds of excuses for crime. Politicians listen to egghead talking points and base laws on them. Nothing ever gets done.

It's just easier to get cats on the back end with prison. And I'm talking insane sentences for folks illegally carrying or having guns. I'd have thought twice about arming up with a case pending if I knew there were serious consequences, but the gun laws are a joke. They are aimed at law-abiding citizens. It's corny, game goofy, egghead shit. :smh:

And that's the problem. No enforcement of the existing laws yet a lot of these politicians are misleading people into thinking these laws don't exist and new laws are needed. Tons of cases where people are caught with felony gun charges that get dropped altogether or reduced to misdemeanors. Fuck dropping the charge in favor of the bigger charge. Add them shits on top of each other to make sure something sticks

Yeah, it took me many years to realize how full of shit and out-of-touch these people are. Not shamed to admit it took that long. Naturally, I thought people in these positions knew something.

There is a very small percentage of people doing violent shit and most violent people doing these shootings keep weapons on them OR around them. Getting knocked don't mean shit because punishments are a joke unless folks get a fed case, but that shit don't happen like that. Not enough to worry about.
