Be advised that this scheme does not work out as economically if you wish to include Africa in your travels. African travel tends to be twice the cost of European travel, if not MORE, for some varied political, geographical and racial reasons, but Europe is something to behold, and despite what you might imagine, you'll run into slews of Blacks and Africans almost anywhere in Europe.

Job one! Establish a base. London England works best. They've at least four international airports and all are served by, arguably, the two cheapest airlines in Europe. Ryan Air and EasyJet. Your cost getting from the USA to London will likely be in the ballpark of 1K USD, RT economy, at least that's the cost from Detroit (DTW) my U.S. home city.

Make use of hostels and cheaper Airbnbs as situations and locations permit. Hostels are a bastion of comradery for budget travelers and backpackers, and you'll meet and enjoy the company of well-traveled and interesting people from locations that span the globe, of all colors and religions and make lifelong friends. Theft in hostels is rare, if ever.

From London you can see Paris easily and cheaply by underwater bullet train to France. Once back in the UK, EasyJet or RyanAir will take you damned near anywhere in Europe for a hundred to one hundred fifty USD one way. Jump from country to country. In the big cities, almost all will have Hop-on, Hop-off red double-decker tour buses that for a fixed price you can ride all day seeing the sites, jumping on and off as you please, then await the next bus. You can also catch cat nap aboard the bus or at the airports you arrive or depart at. Or have a hostel map and sleep for a few dollars a day. After a month or so, you've explored 15 (or more) countries, met a slew of new friends, met a slew of international ladies and enjoyed an experience that might possibly become the highlight of your entire life. Beats a fucking used Camaro! Do plan ahead for necessary visas if host countries don't offer "on arrival" service!

Note: While in London, do take the City Cruises Thames river ferry cruise, it's a don't miss! Also stop in at the JRC Global Buffet for the biggest and most incredible buffet experience of your life! And drop in the area called Brixton. (Black London) There, go visit the Blues Kitchen. A barbecue experience you'll not soon forget, that includes alcohol and a live jazz band.

This plan, again, will not work in Africa. Africa has no budget air carriers and even normal fares, again, tend to be quite expensive. Also Africa is many, many times the size of Europe so the country to country mileage would, at least, double the fuel cost.
