I have family members when they was younger mom and or pops told them to stay away from the lake and as they got older they realize why they told them to stay away from the lake.
This happens because of idiots want to get in the water thinking they can swim and be bullshittin in the water. When I go there I go for strictly fishing and don't have any problems.
They need to ban people from that lake period….. Because even if you are just fishing your boat can explode for no reason.
I haven't had any issues in 20 years going fishing out there I don't see why it would be an issue now. I think the people that drown be people that don't know the lake very well I know what areas to go and not go.
