For me, I can honestly say I dont watch as much NBA as I used to, especially over the last 10 years. I will always watch a Bulls game, but there was a time where I wouldn't miss one. Ill faitfully watch the plaoffs and the finals. The All star game has become a joke. I much rather watch NCAA basketball, far more entertaining in my opinion.

College basketball is horrible except for the tournament. I do find myself watching only the so called top games of NBA during the season. I’ll watch certain matchups of the playoffs though

I think the new apps and firestck fucks with viewership. These bastids buy up companies and charge you to view their content. If you have prime, you have to buy, starz, paramount, etc while still paying for prime. Then you have to pay for, Netflix, hulu, Disney and all the companies under them.

Streaming definitely affects the ratings and they ain’t counting that with how Nelson does ratings. However they are counting that during those back off negotiations; that’s one of the reasons why the NBA just tripled its TV rights deal!! So to say people ain’t watching is bullshit.
