December 10, 2025

The bill is part of a Republican frenzy to posthumously honor Kirk, who has already had a California street named after him and received the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

The House and Senate both passed resolutions honoring Kirk's "life and legacy" in September, shortly after he was killed.

A Republican lawmaker in Florida has introduced a bill to designate Oct. 14, Kirk's birthday, as "Charlie Kirk Day of Remembrance."…

Does that apply to everyone that continues to recognize or "congratulate" George Floyd and his "sobriety," year after year, tormenting that man's family?

Amanda Seyfried says she won’t apologize over Charlie Kirk comments

Actress Amanda Seyfried is doubling down on comments she made after the assassination of conservative political activist Charlie Kirk.

“I’m not f—ing apologizing for that,” Seyfried, 40, told Who What Wear in an interview published Wednesday. “I mean, for f—’s sake, I commented on one thing. I said something that was based on actual reality and actual footage and actual quotes.”

She added, “What I said was pretty damn factual, and I’m free to have an opinion, of course.”

In September, Seyfried faced backlash over an Instagram comment posted shortly after Kirk’s death, writing at the time, “He was hateful.”

The actress told Who What Wear that she considered deleting the post but decided to keep it up, despite the social media backlash. Instead, she made another post to clarify her comment.

“We’re forgetting the nuance of humanity,” Seyfried wrote in September. “I can get angry about misogyny and racist rhetoric and ALSO very much agree that Charlie Kirk’s murder was absolutely disturbing and deplorable in every way imaginable.”

“No one should have to experience this level of violence,” she continued. “This country is grieving too many senseless and violent deaths and shootings. Can we agree on that at least?”…
