I have a few friends that are both Afro American and Native American.. in fact 1 uses his Native American loophole and dosent pay taxes.. so just cause she’s of darker complexion dosent mean she’s not a Native American.. also the original people aka black people touched all continents b4 slavery.. there’s actually proof that shows the ancestors touch down at many places b4 the colonizers forced them here.. those things are actually hidden by powerful people , scientists, etc.. white his-story don’t want you to know that

That chick was on the Breakfast club and Ceyonce and Brick Ross need to sit their retarded asses down somewhere, you're not black or from africa but you keeping up with trends that's black.

I don't care or want them to be black, keep their ignorant retarded asses where their at.

I've always liked Afro-American as a descriptor.
I like FBA as well, but the Tariq association (xenophobia, commercialization, capitalization, and politicization) will keep it in a state of infamy.
Jesse ruined a great term.

It's hard to free slaves who still insist on referring to themselves with the sociopolitical labels & monikers imposed on their ancestors.

I don't think anybody would deny African presence before slavery, but to say that a significant amount of slaves were already here verses those that were brought seems like a reach, especially when there's ton of evidence in ships logs etc showing the movement of African slaves. There's not a whole lot the other way.

Ok now we are talking!! This will be an interesting discussion. The song did have some correct statements, black isn't a race. In the past people always described themselves where they were from. Africans don't call themselves African, they say whatever country they hail from, etc... Yes, I believe slave ships sailed from African to America, South America, Europe and a vast number of places. However, with America....the bulk of people DID NOT come to North America, mostly South America. I believe that Africans came to America on their own long before white people came over here with that bullshit. But I'm definitely awaiting people's feedback on this issue. Peace..

It's ok to grow up, it's ok to move on.

Stop taking your talking points from a scamming ass nigga who's trying to turn everything into a dollar (your dollar)

Or an overly critical nigga from a railroad town in northern Louisiana who refuses to show his face.

Most people didn’t even know about black wall street 2 decades ago and that shit happened last century, most people have no idea Central Park was owned by black people and that was 2 centuries ago, so who the fuck knows what we have no idea about from over 500 yrs ago.. lot of evidence could be lost or just not told.. most people get their info from cacs and if you know they don’t like to celebrate others or give others confidence and hope.. so saying we was a bunch of slaves treated like cattle fits their narrative they’d like to tell us

Wait until AI technology starts altering original speeches into new AI-generated ones, and your ears can’t distinguish between the two.

I get you, but everything requires evidence. There’s documentable evidence of multiple Black Wall Streets and and eminent domain was used to take Central Park so that’s not really in dispute. Unknown to most or forgotten definitely, but we can know about it today because it was documented. Even in the infinite hate and skewing of history that the white man is known for something as widespread and impactful as slavery, they just can’t completely hide the facts of Black people en masse that were already here and somehow got captured on their own land by the 10’s of thousands, if not 100’s of thousands and nobody documented none of that?

Sorry, dawg I just can’t buy that on correlation. CACs documented a lot of shit and even in trying to twist and hide our history they would’ve put Black natives somewhere in their writings if for no other reason just by mistake over 500 years.

They look just like the ones we brought over.“

”They have some skin color as the ones from African“

It would have been written somewhere.

“Our”

That’s comical considering the OP is on record saying he isn’t an Aboriginal American.

Much respect to those that added truth to this sham thread.
