nah...amar'e is a gamechanger at pf... imagine if the heat had signed him instead of bosh, they'd be impossible to beat. And melo is the best natural scorer in the game, with lebron u need expensive parts to make a successful run with melo and amar'e we get a solid center and solid pg play and keep the bench ok we can do some damage.
two players are better than one.
Lebron can't do alone what Melo and Amare can do. He's not that good.

man...amare is a fucking problem. after watching this game I think this cat might come out of this generation as the #1 big man. Dwight is a beast but he can't dominate the end of games like Amare can. I haaaate the knicks but I can see the team with Amare + Melo + Billups winning a championship.

Hell no. 'Melo is a top 5 player, the best closer in the NBA besides Kobe, and has the best in and out game in the NBA. Amare is a top 10 player and one of the best finishers in the NBA. Lebron with all his hype has the same amount of rings as everyone on this board and he's been in the NBA 8 years. Even with D Wade and Bosh on his team the Heat have a worse record than his Cavs had at the same point last year. They can't beat any of the elite teams in the NBA consistently. I'll take Melo and Amare because they have a better shot winning a chip than just Lebron and scrubs. Bron might be the best player in the NBA skills wise but he has proven time and time again that he chokes in the clutch and lacks leadership skills.

Bron took a bunch of absolute scrubs to the Finals. Melo has never come close to that with much better supporting casts.
