Hypothetical: Would Knicks management/fans trade Amare & Melo for LeBron?

FJP, you're losing it man.

Who in this thread said Amare was a better player?

One person said Amare is a better LEADER. And most everyone else saying Melo and Amare TOGETHER is better than Lebron alone- which isn't an over the top comment.

Oh maybe I was misreading. But he's not even a better leader. That Knicks team Amare had all year is better than Lebrons Cavs team and he had them 2 games over .500

You look at things all wrong. Sure they were two games over 500, but where was the Knicks the season before?

If theywere going to finish 500 plus, they'd be around 43-39 or 44-40 for a 14-15 game increase in wins from the previous season. Which is a good first step.

Keep in mind Lebron's cavs team was a much betters defensive team than the Knicks this season and also played a few seasons together. And this is with no trade drama swirling about.

You're still confusing being a better player with being a better leader. For one, Amare doesn't dance on the sidelines.

Peace,

Bron took a bunch of absolute scrubs to the Finals. Melo has never come close to that with much better supporting casts. :cool:

'Melo played in the West. Bron wouldn't have made the finals in the West with those Cavs. You must of forgot how bad the East has been over the last 10 years compared to the stacked West. The Nuggets lost to the Spurs twice and Lakers, both times those teams went on to win a championship. Lebron would of lost to those same teams, hell he got swept by a Spurs team that Melo played in the first round that year. At least 'Melo won a game vs them. And 'Melo has come close to that, He took his Nuggets to the Western Finals vs the Lakers.

Beat me to it. Also if there is any question who should have the ball at the end of the game. In Miami it should be Wade but it goes to Lebron. In NY Chauncey can get it sometimes but here is the majority answer.

I repeat, Amare is a PROBLEM. I know yall saw that bucket when two guys fouled him hard and he still powered through it.

Suns fucked up bigtime :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Doesn't matter. Cleveland beat a great Detroit team to get there who were amongst the favorites to win it all. Great players find a way to win. History has shown that.

No I'm not. On far more talented teams Amare went nowhere. Look at the Cavs record without Lebron this year? Lebron not a leader. He took a team to the Finals..I hate when people say "Lebron did it in the East." So what he still had to go through the Pistons to get there, a team that had just won the title AGAINST the WEST, this isn't even a comparison....
