How to make Smoked Turkey Legs like one's at the Park

Here I give my version of how to make great Smoked Turkey Legs. I tried many different ways to do this and these were by far the best! So, the recipe is posted below fell free to alter the recipe but don't change the portion of Tender Quick. If you don't have TQ or pink salt REMEMBER to add your cold turkey to the smoker at 225f for 3-4 hours until the center reaches 165f then cover for 10 minutes before you taste.

Recipe:

1 gallon cold water
2 liters Sprite soda (cold)
1 cup kosher salt
1 cup Mortons tender quick (CURE)
1 cup dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground allspice
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon lemon pepper
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
4-6 turkey drumsticks
3 tablespoons olive oil
4 Tbsp Barbecue Rub
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp red pepper
2-3 teaspoons liquid smoke

"You will need to inject the meat so that it is fully cured."
