A South African impala took its chances trying to out-swim a crocodile and a hippo but was caught by the crocodile who then had to fight off the hippo to keep its prey.

I came face to face with 5 or 6 of them at Elizabeth Park in Uganda while on a safari.... walked out of my housing at dusk, nobody told me I shouldn't came around a corner and there they were... stared at me but didn't attack. I backed slowly back into my hut.
