You Need Nero , But You Also Need A Program That Breaks The Dvd File Into Smaller Files Because Most Movies Are Like 1.1 Gb's , And An Average Cd Can Only Hold 700mb , So You Need A Program Like Easy Splitter , Which You Can Find On Download.com, To Split The File Up So You Can Put It On The Cd-r. Most Movies Are Usually 2 Cd-r's.

Thanks for this, but I have Nero 6 (I think) and it takes like 8 hours from start to finish to burn. Does this version process take as long to burn as the one I have? Someone posted VSO convert to DVD http://198.65.131.81/board/showthread.php?t=147681 , but it isn't installing right ro I don't know what I am doing. Dude says it burns in 1.5 hours, which would really work for me. Can somebody PM me and walk me thru this so I can use a program that burns in a shorter time than 8 hours? I like Nero because it is great for editting chapters and cutting unwanted chatter from scenes, but it just takes too damned long.

These dudes givin' you false hope if you are trying to watch a movie on your dvd player. Now I do have a dvd player that plays backup cd's or dvd's so if you're talking about that then yea you can use Nero to make CD's or DVDs. But no way in hell can a movie fit on a cd.
What are you trying to do lol? Are you trying to make a dvd out of a cd? That shit is impossible unless you want to make VCD or SVCDs. Even then that would take about 6-10 cds. If you're trying to save movies to a 700 mb cd then yea Nero lets you do that. But not all dvd's play those type of cds.
yo i've been having the same problem because i don't know wat format to use.. aight i would download a movie from rapidshare (rar. format)but after i watch the movie i wanna put it on a blank dvd some time i can hear the movie but cant see it then see can't hear because when i start to use the movie converter a hole list of formats pops up and none of them say dvd so which format do u use when converting movies that would play on your dvd my dvd use dvd rw disk now that's wat i use but i don't know how to format the movie to put on the disk..... and i delete the movie converter i had because i got mad... i kept wasting disk so i'm gonna download this nero thing is that wat i need?
