Househeads - Kerri Chandler goes Kerri Chandler... analog reel-to-reel house set

As usual, Kerri does not disappoint

@THE DRIZZY

Meanwhile these Mickey Mouse DJs today are being paid millions but probably (more than likely) wouldn't even know how to turn those things on, never mind mixing with them.
Kerri is dope because he not only plays good music, produce, and engineer good music, etc..but that brother knows how to build his own equipment.

That's not a Urei 1620.

The reel-to-reels are pioneer RT-707's. To be honest, this shit put me to sleep....
true that is not a Urei, it's a Isonoe 420 but for those that g rew up in House Clubs in NYC (Shelter, Sound Factory, Sound Factory Bar, WildPitch, Octogan, the Underground.....) every dj both catering to a House dj had a Urei.

House isn't for everyone, that is why House clubs never had fights, and it was such a great vibe of everyone just enjoying the music and dancing the night away

Date night was the Paradise Garage on a Friday night (never went on Saturday/Gay night). Let's just leave it at that cause Kerri was one of my top producers....[/QUOTE]

This is true.... However, things and times change.... House Music came to it's "logical conclusion". You can pick up a house song from 10 years ago and a recently cut song and you would be hard pressed to realize that they were made so far in time from each other.

I will agree with that. I will pass on buying tracks because it is a remix of a remix of a remix from the 90's. Still some great music coming out, but a lot of lazy production too. Producers like DJ Spen, Jihad Muhammad, and a few others that are trying to advance the sound.
