These are things that make House party house party... Part of the thrill of house party was the first half showing Kids journey just to make it to Plays house.

These 'no-imagination-having' mofos. No reason the reboot the pass. No one has fresh ideas these days, everything's a reboot from the 80s and 90s. If they're pushing the 'Gay Agenda', they're digging in the crates to see how much dust they can blow off to get people interested. Has the "Law & Order" series surpass "Gunsmoke" as the longest continuous show on TV or is "The Simpsons" still holding the top spot?

You said it right here. The reason that movie worked was the timing of it, combined with a perfect balance of cast.
Heck, I don't even love the movie that much, but I acknowledge that it was solid and has its place as a comedy classic.
Trying to recreate the original would be a failing effort. And if you're going to do something new instead, then just do that instead of trying to drag the old title into it. I wish people would stop trying to reboot stuff and just aim to be successful.

House Party 1-3 are the only ones that count. The OG House Party, The Pajama Jammy Jam (back when media encouraged black kids to attend college), and The Bachelor Party (Kid n Play transition to adults). The rest were some culture vulture bullshit and this new one will be no different.
Kids don't even have house parties anymore, they have kick backs, which consist of them taking selfies & Tiktoks for about 30 minutes and spending the rest of the night staring into their phones while they edit, curate, and share them on social media. No dance offs, no rap battles, and no classic soundtrack. Won't be a school bully because all schools practice zero tolerance for bullying & hate speech, Full Force would have been expelled. You can't even have a Robin Harris character, because they won't let you beat your kids till you're sleepy anymore, Child Services gets called.
What sucks is that Hollywood knows people are sick of all these reboots but they're also banking on a good number of folks tuning in just to hate watch. And whether you liked it or not, I think they can somehow monetize it as long as you watched. I still refuse to watch that bullshit they did with "How High 2".

Hell Naw!!! Not meaning to step on anybody's toes or make offense, but do these kids even really know what a house party is??? A House party is firmly rooted and belongs to the last segment of the "Babyboomers" and my own, "Generation X." This is what made the movie popular, it mimicked what a significant degree of folks, black folks, remembered about a Houseparty, which was dancing, having fun, the slow-grind (slow dancing) and getting at females. Do these kids even do any of this these days???

I’m laughing at the people asking if do teens have house parties anymore.. how quickly does bgol forget the multi page thread from less than a yr ago when somebody posted a vid of a teen party where it had over a hundred people in the house and people were smoking, drinking, etc.. many people did their usual routine of wishing death on a bunch of black kids cause not all of them were wearing face mask and not social distance themselves..it was a multi page of insults on the black youth and some cac praising in there also.. that is 1 of the many threads over the yrs showing teen house parties.. if you have any sense or connection to the youth than you would know these kind of things still exist.. in fact some rent out air bnbs for this or even hotels.. so in certain cases they actually have more options than we ever had to do these type of things.. that’s why I said this movie can be created for modern times using modern tech modern mindset modern options.. I just don’t think holly weird has the comedic genius and script writers to make it good

No such thing as house party 4.. immature did an extended music video on a set featuring Megan Goode and called the song having a house party.. it was the longest music video concept ever.. that is my story and I’m sticking with it
