Yep.. most underrated character in that movie was my nig goofy.. I always make a joke and said that nig was a genius on the low low..that nig knew something was up that all them skillful flying monkeys went through that door and never came back.. he was like oh hell no fuckery is going on..so he purposely act like he couldn’t fly for shit.. whenever they would test him he would throw the middle finger in the air.. even in the end he threw the middle finger in the air and said we out.. he knew what he was doing..goofy was the real mvp of that movie

Back to the movie...the trailer did nothing for me. I didn't like the delivery of the jokes. I'm supposed to laugh at a guy saying "Nahhhhhhhh" in a barely communicable voice? At least have them both say it at the same time.
Especially knowing the source material, I just didn't find anything in the trailer humorous. Hopefully it makes money though, I like to see Lebron stick it to the man every chance he gets.

I can almost garentee you the age demo of those reviewers are well over 30 and comparing it to the original.

I will eventually but its not aimed at my generation....the original was... I'm sure 30+ to 50 somethings back in the 90s were dismissive of that movie back then. So my opinion on whether its good or not is about as relevant as mitch mcconnells opinion is on rap music of the last 20 years.

I watched about an hour of it and realized I didn't laugh at all. Turned it off. Dude from The Chi playing a similar role. His counterpart is not funny at all. A lot of cameos, but not even that could save the movie. Oh actually, the dude Man Boy from Snowfall, he plays one of the bullies similar to full force. He might make you chuckle once or twice. They also went with an all lightskin bully crew which I thought was a clever twist from the original.
