Shes a scumbag because she admits to doing something that in her heart she knows wasn't the right thing to do. And instead of holding herself accountable, she does what a lot of zealots do and uses her God as a scapegoat. If she held to her beliefs and principals she would have found him guilty...she clearly feels and says he was guilty. Instead, she allowed herself to be swayed/pressured/manipulated and now passes on her moral and legal responsibility to "God". That's horrendous on her part brother.
Based on what she said, im almost certain she was the juror who wanted clarification on manslaughter but when asked to clarify her request changed her mind and went with the majority who wanted to acquit. Thats deplorable. And then she wants to tell us she "fought to the end". No you didn't. That's not fighting under anyones definition. The only one who fought to the end was that innocent boy who was murdered. Fuck this lady. And the pain she is pretending to be experiencing now will pale in comparison to the pain she will feel if one of her 8 litter happen to meet the same fate at the hands of bigotry as Trayvon Martin.
A little.
So true.
But having heard the instructions and compared them to jury instructions prior to passing SYG laws, they came to the legally, but not morally, correct decision and it's interesting to see them come out as they are to explain themselves.
She should dead that talk of being as hurt as Sybrina Fulton. Not possible unless you've lost your child in such a senseless manner.
My question for you and Amajorfucup:
If you agree that the decision was legally correct (and, Amajor, I realize you did not make such a statement so I don't mean to put words in your mouth) are you saying that the morally correct thing would have been to disregard the law?
I can respect that if that's your position, just trying to understand the logic. It might be what I would have done-- the more I think about it, I probably would have; I just won't go beyond "might" because I did not actually watch the bulk of the trial-- and a hung jury would've been the very best case scenario in my view. I think, either way, Zimmerman eventually goes free.
