Being a lurker for some time now, I understand where both sides are coming from.

As with most things in life, we have choices, we do or we don't.

We're not actually paying for the content, but paying for the site that this content is hosted on, and honestly as far as boards go, the variety of shit you find here is almost unrivaled. Compare it to doing research home on the internet and in certain cases having to pay for summaries versus going to the library. Sure, you can walk into the library, look yourself and find the same shit. The thing is, you're paying for convenience. This board is convenient.

Let's be honest, we've all probably wasted $10 on dumber shit than this. You can look around and find thousands of dollars worth of software, music, videos, etc.

Or, think about it like this: The HNIC hosted a board like this that in some ways undermines his bottom line on the paysite. We could all have been potential customers, but most of us aint gonna buy shit we can get for free.

I for one, will pay the $10 plus some because all that i've gotten from this site (and a few others) has made me wayyyyy more than the "donation"/payment i'll be making.

So whether you choose to pay or not, I understand where both sides are coming from and I ain't mad atcha.
