Let me say that people should be mad no matter what race of people kill a black person, but it seems to me that black people get more upset, when a non black person kills a black person, than black on black crime. When Trayvon Martin was kill, I seen black people protecting on Tv making a stand as we should be, but when 20 people was shot and 2 people die in CHICAGO over the damn weekend, you heard nothing from us..

It should make everyone mad when life is lost.....but the Chicago murders....most of the time the intended target was in that life.......

The trayvon martin case....that could have been any 17 year old boy.....only because Zimmerman only saw his race...
 
This is because black people always are looking for someone to blame. they need to be the victim of shit. It's a much better story when a white man kills some black kids vs the every day shit where black kids constantly kill other black kids.

The reality is this...Blacks are the ones killing blacks. The sad part is most black people are in denial....Then the minute some Treyvon Martin shit happens, Al Sharpton, and everyone else decides it's time for them to attention whore.

Where is the outrage at those savages in Chicago shooting up each other? Nooooooooo....We will wait for some cac to shoot one of us, then it will be page one here, and Sharpton, etc...

Trayvon Martin was an innocent kid...90% of that other black on black shit is the drug game and they put themselves in that situation
 
Black deaths are not covered in the media. I don't have the links, but I recall reading in the past where there have been protests, marches, gatherings trying to get justice for the loss of a black life, to no avail. The locals can't get print or tv reporters to cover it. Even with Trayvon, they couldn't get media attention right away. If it's not black on white or vice versa, the media doesn't cover it. Just like when black children go missing. It doesn't mean people aren't speaking out or trying to call attention to it. The only reason we probably heard about Trayvon nationwide is social media. If you can't get the story beyond local coverage, and sometimes we don't even get that, there is no way to get national attention.
 
Whenever I hear questions or comments like this it underscores a lack of critical thinking on the part of the person that makes the statement or asks the question. The simple and glaring answer is that when black people kill one another its a reaction to conditions we're subject to as the lowest member of society. If you look at any senseless black murder carefully you will find a poor person doing something to survive. The drug dealer defending territory. A gang member in the inner city reacting to a threat from another poor gang. A drug user trying to get money to get high. Someone stealing valuables to get money to eat. All of these are symptoms of one common malady. Poverty. You don't often hear about middle to upper class black people shooting each other senselessly in the streets because they don't have to do desperate, criminal things to survive. When a white person kills a black person senselessly the black community looks at as just another insult to injury. It wasn't enough to have us shut out and impoverished, now the cracka gotta exterminate us for reacting to the very conditions he created! That's the difference.

You sound like one of those parents that wants to take all the credit when your child does good, but none of the blame when your kids fuck up. The white man is the de facto ruler of the modern world. Its a tough pill to swallow, but its the truth. We speak the cracka's language, base our society on his common law and practice a global economic system that he created. I don't think any one will dispute that. With that being said any failures to the system that the white man created have to be attributed to that same white man. You can't yell "rah rah!" when its all good, but call foul when shit messes up. The white man created the circumstance of the black people in America, period. The results of that experiment are his and his alone. Whether they are negative or positive.

There was a news story around the time of the Trayvon coverage that mentioned 4-5 protests seeking justice for black folx who were killed that just couldn't get traction in the media because it was not interracial crime. I tried to find them but couldn't. I did come across a response to a question similar to yours that was posed:

Even the folx who are savvy enough to pull a protest or march together do not get the coverage. There are local movements, we just don't hear about them.

The news isn't geared towards US. this is why we need our own news. No news station is, no matter how liberal you think it is. None have black people in mind when they report the news.

They will hire black talking heads to appease that small demographic or when relevant issues arise but as far as actually being geared toward informing us, with unbiased reporting? there isn't anywhere in america that does this.


Oakland had a black owned cable station call soulbeat, we watched the soulbeat news in our house because it spoke about what was really happening to US, not to everyone else.

A simple answer is because people want to see how justice will be served.

We all know how justice treats black-on-black crimes. It's not always the same on non-black on black crimes. We know this too well and as a result focus on these crimes more to see that justice is served fairly.

You won't see it on the same level because its a different kind of outrage. It's sort of like murder and manslaughter. When you murder someone your motives are clear and with malice. In a manslaughter case your intent was not to necessarily kill someone, but that's what happened based on the circumstances. In other words black people killing black people are a reaction that happened to lead to death. Trayvon Martin type murders are simply white people expressing their dislike for blacks as a whole. Those two acts are going to get you two different reactions in the black community. One says, we need to clean up our selves and find a common solution to a common problem: racism and poverty in America. The other says: damn! Its open season on black people and we can't find protection or justice anywhere! That's my answer to your question as to why there isn't the same outrage.

Good question and yes it's disturbing when it's black on black and gets little to no attention but it really goes deeper that even that. Question is why does the media give so much attention to black on white crime over all. Honestly I believe they are scaring white people into buying guns and arming themselves for a race war.
